Hole in a wall but good food. I was surprised. They give you a healthy meat to noodles ratio in the beef lo mein. Consistency is key tho so will add or deduct stars based on each visit.

Chef special Garlic beef had more vegetables than meat The entire plate look questionable And the egg roll was so small. I'm sure they had egg with no roll. Customer service was below average once. I started to complain they ignored me completely.

Always delicious authentic Chinese cuisine at a reasonable price. This is the only place I know of (as far as Chinese takeout) that serves a WHOLE chicken wing when you order their fried chicken wing.... and they are on the larger side of a wing. I only say this because I've had teeny tiny chicken wings from places like Popeyes that were laughable in comparison!I would for sure recommend this place to other foodies even though I know it might make my next takeout order take a little longer because of their delicious food thatI'm turning everyone on to.Bottom line....China Chef II is THE place for great food at a great place in midtown Mobile!
Health Alert! I received my food and open my sweet and sour sauce only to find a roach floating in it. I rushed back to complain and get a refund but they were closed. They are always closed and you can't get inside to check the health rating. 🤢

This place is amazing. At first sight, it appears sketchy, but I'm telling you, give it a try. They cook the food when you order it, every meal I've had from here has always been piping hot and fresh. Service is always good. Never an issue with orders (no missing food, special requests honored, etc). By far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Midtown!
