Awful. I wanted a Good Birger. I didn't want to go downtown where I knew I would find one. I remembered eating at Col Dixie at this location in July and the food being good and at a fair price. So sorry I made this decision to eat local. the burger was huge and dry. the bun huge and stale. the cheese cold and lettuce wilted. the fries inedible. home cut and grease y. all for the outrageous price of $18.00 plus tip. I had to order at the bar full of men enjoying their beverages and 10 mins later this was presented to me. I believe it was old food they served up to me. This is a tavern- not a family establishment any more. and I did take out. Never again.

What an absolute waste of time. We came in and ordered and after 45 minutes of waiting still had no food, and to be honest the 3 or 4 tables that were there didn't have any food either. we had to leave due to having a 3-year-old who was starving and as well as me being a diabetic and having low blood sugar issues from not eating ten out of 10 would not recommend

3rd try was another mess. Wrong orders, fries were soggy, food came out at different times for three of us. Our drinks were super late. I had to walk to the bar to get mine as I sat there watching it. They were not busy btw. Our waitress tried her best. The time before my wing order must have been for someone else. The first time my wife’s burger was undercooked and topping were wrong. Sorry folks. We are moving on

My mom worked for Colonel Dixie when I was younger. I wanted to love this place so much, but inevitably they mess up my order. Every time...now, they are really friendly and prompt about fixing it but even time....

We ate here after church on Mother's Day...Not only was our food delicious but Mother's ate free which was such a sweet wonderful surprise and I can't say enough good things about our sweet server Ivy! She was absolutely AMAZING! Will definitely be going back !

I give everyone three chances, but 3 times in a row? And I took 2 bites of the hotdog,and still charged me for it, though I left it on the table. Let's me know they care more about money, than satisfaction"In response to your reply"I ordered the Dixie dog, but regardless of the cold stuff, the chili and the hotdog was literally room temperature. Perhaps it wasn't brought out very quickly.When I make it at home, my chili is hot on my hotdogs.So idk... But what got me most, was the waitress saying it would be hot,and it was far from it, and charging us when all I took was 2 bites . But, I guess everybody has to make that good ole dollar.

SAD! Not much more that can be said. This old time classic reopened with such promise, and for the first little while it WAS good. But LORTY it's been ALL downhill the last few months. I gave it my last try today. The fries were burnt and cold! How do you do that?! Then the burger was almost under cooked to the point of being unbeatable! Unfortunately I got my order to go so I didn't become aware of this until I had returned to work and had no choice.

Service was good. I grew up eating Colonel Dixie. And this was not even close. Dixie dog should have been messy. Lots of chili and other toppings. Not much on this Dixie dog. Giant chili cheese hamburger was also little or non chili. I'll give it another try.
