The first time we went was fantastic. Saturday August 11, was so disappointing. The server spent most of his time watching TV. It took 1hout and 30 minutes for food, that was not like the first time we were there. So disappointed.

My husband and I walked in around 3 o'clock. We were greeted and seated by the hostess. We were given chips and salsa, and after that, we crickets! We sat there for 15- 20 minutes, and NO ONE stopped by to take our drink order or food order. We witnessed about 5 waitress and waiters just standing around talking when one of them could've been waiting on our table. Needless to say, we got up and left and went to San Miguel, where we were greeted, seated, and ordered , got our food in less than 20 mins of being seated. We will not be back to Maiz bcus of their poor customer service.

We love this lil’ spot!!..It doesn’t look like much from the outside, hidden in Publix parking lot, but the inside has great vibe!! The salsa is delicious, the street tacos are amazing and staff is friendly ..all set to upbeat Latin music lol

The corn is amazing! We have been here 4 times and try something new everytime. It is so good. DJ plays on Sunday on patio
The food was meh and expensive for what it is. There are better Mexican options in town. The place was clean and service was good. The music was uncomfortably loud. It was hard to carry on a conversation.
