Told it's the Oldest restaurant in Mobile. Known for great burgers and hot dogs. I had a plate lunch with chicken & dumplings, turnip greens and fried okra. Yummy and homemade. Hubby had seafood gumbo which was also good. Close to Mobike Infirmary.
This restaurant is one of, if not the oldest restaurant in Mobile. It's also a step back in time when you enter the restaurant. This is a must visit... If you haven't been to at least once
Loved the DDI! I had read about this oldest restaurant in Mobile & have wanted to try it. We opted for the daily special, the hamburger steak with gravy. He had Mac&cheese & turnip greens, I had lima beans & mashed potatoes. All delish! We couldn't eat it all! We will be back - next time to try the famous hot dogs!
