The meat itself is very hit or miss. When it does hit, it's incredible, but when it misses, it's incredibly dry and bland, which is not helped by them forgetting my sauce in online orders (both in pickup and delivery). The sauce (when I actually receive it) and the sides are consistently good, but I wish the meat could be just as consistent. It really is a bit of a gamble to eat here, which is a shame because I know it can be good.

Dickey's in Mobile, Alabama's idea of a "giant pit-smoked baker" baked potato was literally a pile of garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic flavor was overwhelming, certainly no "pit smoked" flavor. Also ordered 6 boneless wings with sweat bbq sauce and got 3 slices of plain chicken breast cut in half. No sauce, no breading, not even a fake smoky flavor. The pulled pork tasted just like pot roast...and not even good pot roast. Definitely avoid if you're craving real BBQ and like accurate depictions of food.

The workers wrote the receipts improperly. We ordered pulled pork but paid for brisket and overcharged.

Very welcoming. Ken is very personable and Jacob the owner is very kind. The food is amazing. I had the baked potato casserole and fried okra umm mmm good.

We placed a fairly large order today for pickup and waited an additional 20 minutes because 3/6 sides weren’t there, our ordered okra wasn’t there, and we received the wrong sauces with everything (still got the wrong sauces). Additionally, the meat portions were small. When asked why the portions were so much smaller, the response was “We reduced our portions.”

When we asked to speak to a manager about everything, we were told “There isn’t one around.” and they refused to get one. We spent wayyyyyy too much money for this, this was pretty ridiculous. The quality of the food also wasn’t as good as what we’ve had before. It’s been a little bit since we’ve been here (a few months), but if this is the new way this location is ran, probably not coming back (not that it seems like anyone would care).
