Pork sandwich was just ok nothing to write home about. Service was poor and not welcoming. Sides were not equal in portion between plates. You must pay to park a vehicle. Overall I won’t be back not worth it.

I’m from St. Louis and I drive trucks currently on a ten hour break. I’d decided I wanted some bbq and I’d heard about this place called Dreamland, watch a video about it and all. Get to this particular location order my food, which was a bbq sausage sandwich and a half rack of ribs. Received my food the sausage sandwich was cold ribs tasted if they were smoked but been warmed up in an oven.. lol this place is definitely liked by individuals who don’t know anything about good bbq are they just like it because it used to be good. I give it a D- in food and a C+ in service.

This is hands down the best bbq joint in the whole city. Everything there is cooked perfectly. The atmosphere and service is always on top. You just feel that it’s gonna be good when you walk in. I always get their ribs and they’re always cooked to perfection. Their wings are amazing and always hit the spot. Their fires come with their incredible rub that set them above any other fries. You can never ever go wrong with their white sauce, it is hands down the best white sauce I’ve ever had the only problem is that you can’t buy it by the bottle!! I love their ribs smothered in as much of the white sauce as possible. To finish your meal you have to try their banana pudding, it’s the best there is. This is a must visit for any Mobilian or visitor.Parking: Very easy but can fill up fast.

Sadly, I was not wowed by Dreamland BBQ. I had the rib sandwich (Doc's way) along with the fried okra. The rib meat was inconsistent - some of it chewy and moist, other pieces dried out and begging for sauce. The rib meat didn't have the smokey bark I'm used to - the BBQ sauce was nice, tomato-based and not too sweet or spicy. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the fried green tomatoes. The service was friendly and prompt; the atmosphere was classic with lot's of wooden tables/booths and SEC team flags everywhere. I could see this as a fun destination on game days. If I'm in the neighborhood, I'll try the pulled pork at Dreamland, but from what I've experienced thus far, the BBQ is pretty average.

I called up there to speak the manager and was greeted with attitude. Before I could say." Can I leave a msg" they hung up. The reason I called was because I had an interview that day and wanted to know if I come an hour early because I had other plans, so I called back. They finally got the manager on the phone & she rushed the conversation saying she was busy, That's it.. no reschedule.. no time frame , nothing this was two hours after lunch time.
