I was very excited to try this place. I drove an hour from Mississippi, only to be disappointed. I got a chocolate croissant, tasted good, but small. The cappuccino cruffin had very little filling and basically was a croissant. The strawberry lemon pop tart was decent, not much filling. I got a chocolate chunk cookie. It was good. The blueberry lavender whoopee pie was flavorless. All of this cost me 50 bucks. Not worth the money. Most items are 6 dollars each, which you don't know, because no prices are posted. It's not horrible, not great, looks better than it tastes and if it were a little cheaper, maybe it would have tasted better. I should have driven further to Parlor Donuts in Pensacola. And just so you know, I am not cheap, but when you charge 6 bucks for a cookie or cupcake, it should be the best I've ever had. The lemon pistachio cupcake, which I forgot to mention, not worth the price. It's standard

This charming spot on Dauphin holds treasured memories for me. My dear friend John Derich Harbison used to bring me presents from their treasures whenever time would permit. Derich died recently following an extended period of suffering and being off handedly rejected by authorities who might have made his journey less painful. I only wish he and I could return to the Dropout just one more time.

Enjoyed both the savory and the sweet options! They have a nice vegan selection as well. Very friendly service and a generally fun experience all around!!

I bought too many things because they all looked so good, and then ate too many things because they tasted too good ? This is a must try bakery that I’ll definitely be back at soon!!

The cutest bakery with unique pastry options in Mobile, AL!?? My only complaint about Dropout Bakery is that it’s not closer to me!Atmosphere: The interior and exterior have a very clean aesthetic with white being their primary color, but they spice it up with plants, wall art, neon signs, and pops of pink!Service: The ladies that were working there that day packaged all of our goodies up nicely for us and helped us in choosing the best options from what they had left!Menu items: I got the butter croissant and peanut butter banana cookie! Everything was SO, SO GOOD! The cookie is honestly the best one I’ve ever had (and I love a good cookie)!Their menu consists of croissants, pop tarts, moon pies, cookies, and specialty items—cinnamon rolls, brownies, cake, and more!???

I’ve been wanting to come here for MONTHS, today (currently sitting upstairs in their seating area) it finally happened. THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST BAKED GOODS IN MOBILE HANDS DOWN! What I love the most, nothing is overly sweet! Between the cheesecake bar, blueberry lemon loaf, and the blackberry mojito bar, nothing was overly sweet. If you’re in the area, stop by because you will not regret it!

This bakery has some of the best and freshest croissants, cookies, muffins, cakes, just to name a few. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Their mini king cakes are the best. The spinach & feta king cake is my favorite for the savory taste buds and the rasberry for the sweet tooth! You must go early because they may sell out of the most popular items. Check them out!

This lil bakery is the most magical spot in all of Mobile. This gem is tucked perfectly in the downtown area and is just what St Louis Street needed. But let's just talk about the sweet and savory treats this place births. Oh my my my... I'll leave it at that and you go see for yourself. Let me know what ya think.

What an adorable bakery! I tried the king cake and moonpie and both were incredible. I am excited to try more. Definitely pre order online for pickup if you can because I imagine as word gets out, their goods will be flying off the counters.

Stopped by Saturday and asked if they had any King Cakes. They said they were out, but said to come back Sunday morning at 10 and they would have some. I'm glad I took the advice. I got the brown butter king cakes and the raspberry-lemon king cakes. Both were delicious and worth the extra trip. Very friendly atmosphere and excellent sweet treats. I will definitely try other offerings in the near future.

Love the dropout college and start a biz story. Great couple who you love to root for and wow what baked goods. Only wish was I could get a cup of coffee while there. Greer is 2 min away for coffee. Next time I try the bread pudding

Lacey came to our rescue helping us make by making petit fours custom for us for our sons rehearsal dinner that were dairy and nut free. It’s so hard to find custom allergy safe bakery items. They were AMAZING! So delicious! Everyone raves about how good they were. Highly recommend dropout bakery and can’t wait to use them again.

Paid $5 a piece for stale cookies. At least give a discount if you're going to sell old products.
