This is by far the best Indian food in Mobile. I’m sad to say we weren’t able to get our usual from them tonight due to them being under renovations, so we had to settle for another Indian place nearby - and I’m here to say Halal Cuisine of India is unmatched! Their food is absolutely delicious, every single time we get it, without fail! If you’re having trouble deciding, JUST GO HERE!! Trust me :)

Ordered butter chicken, kadahi goat, and chicken tikka. Best best butter chicken I’ve ever had! And the chicken tikka was so crispy and flavorful. Kadahi gosht was good too but there wasn’t too much meat in it. But that’s okay. Everything came with rice but tasted better with naan.

Ambience -- dull, dark and down beat.Floors can use some sprucing up.This is single thing that's not good.Staff -- Friendly, however, can use some cheerfulness.Food is just okay.

Food is good.I have always waited for 30min for the food. But the server packed my food and forgot to give it to me. The excuse was she was serving another table. Also I asked for Chai (tea) while I waited and it never came for 40min. Server said it took a long time to make tea. I belong to the same culture and I’ve never seen tea taking 40min to prepare and then too never brought. Poor atmosphere. Servers are generally non amicable.

I went on Thursday for lunch. There were very few other customers. I love buffets because they let me try different dishes. I'm the customer the dishwasher hates, I go up and get a small amount of 3 things on the plate so they don't touch, eat that, then get a clean plate with small amounts of 3 different things...Anyway, the music was the kind you'd expect to hear with the food, and not too loud. The furnishings are obviously older and a bit dated, but it looked and smelled clean. The Chicken Tikka Masala was disappointing. The Chicken Tandoori was better. The Saag Paneer was excellent. The salad was very fresh. The aloo gobi was good enough. The Gulab jamun was too.I love Indian food. This was basically satisfying. The server was pleasant, but when I wanted more water and to pay I had to find her. Sigh.

I have been a regular since 2015. I love this place. Also, I wanted to add that the phone number listed is incorrect. It goes to someone’s personal cell number.

Not recommended. Ordered over 5 times and the food was just sub par. Sometimes just deliverd the food with half portions and way too over priced.

I have ordered chicken soup, butter chicken, mango lase, and rice pudding. The only thing that was good was the rice pudding.Chicken used in the soup or butter chicken dish was very little pieces here and there. Looks like leftover from the big potThe chicken butter was not authentic at all. Tasted like cooked with tomato past cans. The mango lase was anything else but mango lase. Tatsed very soure and no taste of mango.

I haven't had Indian food since I moved to Mississippi and this hit the spot and then some. In an unassuming plaza on the ubiquitous airport road in Mobile, it's a nice break from the corporate cuisine that surrounds it. No stranger to Indian we ordered a bunch. The veggie platter appetizer is not the healthiest application of vegetables, but was a plate a deep fried goodness. Literally ordered all the naan, garlic, bullet and aloo paratha. My favorite entree was the Lamb Saag. It was creamy and flavorful with tender pieces of lamb. The Tikka chicken was the same, rich and flavorful sauce, tender well cooked chicken. The aloo mutter was another veggie dish that I've never had and enjoyed. Those potatoes like to hold onto heat, as it was more spicy at medium than our spicy hit dish. Speaking of which, I can't remember the last dish we ordered. We were so satisfied by that point we barely ate any. They kindly gave us several boxes and a bag to pack up all our leftovers. I did have a mango lassai(?) drink which was excellent, but I love all things mango. Definitely worth a return trip when I'm craving Indian, and that's with a 40min drive one way.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian/vegan dishes with vegetarian versions of popular dishes.
