Overall on this visit I'd have to say the oysters were the highlight. We had the oyster orleans. They were delicious. We shared the shrimp appetizer and fried green tomatoes with crab cakes. I wasn't crazy about the lack of flavor in the shrimp and the fried fried green tomatoes with crab cakes. Make sure you try the watermelon splash! It's delicious.

We are visiting from out of town & some locals recommended this restaurant. Glad they did. Our server brought us out a sample of the Cajun sauce to make sure it wasn’t too spicy for the non spice lover in our group. We had the bisque (not pictured), oyster sampler, crab claws, royal red shrimp, & voodoo shrimp po boy, & a sweet potato side. We enjoyed everything we had!

We stop here when we travel from Texas to Florida to visit family. It's a great midway point and the food rivals New Orleans without the over crowding...HOWEVER this place is very popular so make a reservation or sit in the bar if you can find a spot! The grilled oysters are wonderful.Edited to add: sorry no reservations! We always sit at the bar, and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

10/10! Highly recommend this place. The food was amazing. The drinks were perfect. Our waitress was sweet and polite and very efficient. We were in town for Katt Williams comedy show by way of Florida and we will most definitely be returning to eat here. Keep up the great work Half Shell!
