Happy Sushi Yester Oaks location

I absolutely love their crab Rangoons, their sushi is great too! The ramen is flavorful as well! After I give birth I will be ordering half the menu 😋

The ramen here is the worst I’ve ever eaten. You can seriously make better ramen at home. The broth was tasteless, noodles soggy and cooked too long and the pork belly is nothing more than cut pork loan. If you have to eat ramen, buy it at home and save your $16.

Waited at lunch for only 8-10 min with people stacked in the door. Ordered and our food came in less than 10 min. hot and freshly made. The sushi was fantastic, especially the deep fried sushi rolls! My only strike was that the floors were wet and a bit slippery from rain brought in and spills and no staff paid it any attention. A solid A-.

Happy Sushi is as close to a real Japanese food as it gets. Having been to Japan 3 times I was so happy to learn that a lovely family from the land of the rising sun has decided to share the food of their wonderful country with us here in Southern AL! The interior is authentic, and made me homesick after having lived in East Asia for many years. The service was wonderful- everyone was friendly, our food order was taken as soon as we sat down, and what a treat it was to have it delivered by a cute Shinkansen train:) We had a few sushi rolls, Shoyu Ramen and A Salmon Poke Bowl, and everything was beyond delicious with fresh ingredients, and most authentic. One of the staff- Izumi, was simply delightful, and made is feel so welcomed and special. Both of my visits to Happy Sushi were great, and I cannot wait to go back there many more times. At lunchtime (12:00 Noon) you may have a hard time with finding parking, but simply wait a few minutes and someone will leave and will vacate a parking spot. Thank you, Happy Sushi, for bringing a piece of Japan here!

So glad to have Happy Sushi open in our area!! We haven’t had any Asian restaurants here that we loved, and after eating at Happy Sushi for the first time, we will be repeat customers!! Our family had a mix of Bowls, Ramen, Sushi, and Crab Rangoon and it was all phenomenal!

We were searching for a sushi place during our vacation and we are SO GLAD we decided on this place. Everything was so good! We had a large variety of the foods and sushi, as well as Boba. ALL of it was amazing. Literally the best crab rangoon I've ever had. Pictured - hurricane roll (yum!), strawberry and passion fruit bursting boba, and miso soup.
