Love Hart's Fried Chicken. I grew up on it. It could have been a Lil cleaner. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was ready in a reasonable amount of time.
Parking: The parking lot is tight, and it's hard to get in and out of the lot if you don't go to the light.
Well established and probably could be considered a staple of the city of Mobile because of its long standing in the community. As for the food, I wasn't disappointed at all. The chicken, tots, and okra were fried to perfection and seasoned like grandma did it. Let me be clear, this is a southern fried chicken joint that doesn't fit into your calorie counting if that's what you're into but great for a cheat day if you are?!

The food was cold, and the chicken tasted old, I've never been there, and the food was that bad. The workers were leaning on the counter in the back instead of making sure the food was fresh. There was a rude customer in the store who made it very uncomfortable being there. The manager that runs that store couldn't have known they were serving horrible food like that.
We stopped by because it was recommended by the locals. The chicken was delicious. Unfortunately they were out of alot of sides but we still enjoyed our meal. We will be back next time we are in town.

The chicken today, 06/24,2024 was HORRIBLE. I was in at 10:34 and to my surprise, Crispy chicken is an extra charge. $1.25 more. I should’ve walked out then because I haven’t had their regular chicken in almost 15 years which is y I stopped eating it cuz it’s horrible. The skin doesn’t even stick to the bone if not crispy. So I contacted their main office and spoke to Matthew in which he said They had stopped the crispy chicken because it was too much work and from that it became a high demand from customers to have it back so he did a survey to their customers about having them pay extra for it and they agreed. The typical minority AGREED to pay extra for some WELL DONE chicken that’s already overpriced. So Matthew; It’s a lot of work to redrop chicken to be cooked all the way thru for a few extra minutes huh.?.
But it’s not enough work for paying customers that’s fighting traffic, heat, gas prices, and all the other restaurants in passing to patron them smh. Let that sink in Customers or shall I say Bustomers

I went to Hart's on DIP and SPRINGHILL AVE, the chicken was horrible. It was wet and soggy with no seasoning. Why did they stop selling crispy/ spicy. This is the second time I will not be going back.
