The food is good, Seasoned well, But the customer service is sub par at best. Also they need to clean the dining room to make it more welcoming. They don’t care if it dirty, but if we stop spending money there they may revamp some things.

If your website provide a time of 9am you should honor the time or make an adjustment that coincide with the store front time of 9:30.. You arrive at 9:30 and still say you want be open until 10am because you just arrived. So unprofessional with lack of urgency..

In lieu of a dining area, half of the place is a raw seafood market and that's a good sign of fresh seafood in my books.
I ordered #7 ($18.6) for a pound of peeled red shrimp, sausage, egg, corn and potatoes. Food was still piping hot after I got back to the office. Side note: a lot of people order the gumbo with rice when I was waiting for my food.
The shrimp was fresh and tasted fantastic, and so did the trimmings (well, sausage was on the meh side). If I wasn't in the office I would probably drink the sauce. This is one of my best meals in Mobile (I was on business trip). For comparison purposes, I enjoyed the food more than Wintzells' (that'll be another review) and the price was good. And no, I didn't have stomach issues after the meal.
This is not a place to take your date for a romantic night out. However, I highly recommend you to get the food and pretend you cook it and your date will be impressed. I enjoyed the food so much that if I had known this place earlier, I would have gotten lunch there the whole week. I'll definitely revisit if I'm on business in Mobile again. Note: they have a surcharge for using credit card.

The food at this place may be decent, but the attitude is unacceptable. The staff is unprofessional, and it’s essential to check your order before you leave. If you don’t, they’ll accuse you of trying to get something for free instead of simply providing what you’ve paid for.
It’s time for us to take a stand. Businesses like this in our Black neighborhoods are failing to serve our community. We need to prioritize supporting successful Black-owned businesses that truly respect and value our people.
We deserve better service and accountability in our own communities, like those here in Mobile, Alabama. It’s time to demand respect and reclaim our neighborhoods.
