I have passed Jefe Paletas many times and always wanted to stop by. When I went in the place was packed. It was obvious that this place is very popular. I didn’t know what to get. When it comes to desserts I normally choose chocolate flavors. One thing I noticed was that the majority of the flavors are fruit flavors. I’m not opposed to fruit flavors but I saw a cookies and cream (Oreo) ice cream which looked delicious. I decided to get the Oreo cup. I’m not sure the exact size I ordered but it was at least 2 or 3 scoops. It was less than $7. I took my order home and I can say that this ice cream was very tasty. It was very rich but not overwhelmingly sweet. I definitely want to try more flavors.

Best place in mobile for nice treat! We have been twice and will continue to go back! I ordered the fruit cup and it was PERFECT. And kids love it as well! So many different flavors to choose from! Our favorite place and very family oriented!!

I LOVE this gem!! Everything is delicious. Have been going here religiously ever since i found this spot! I do have to say however, what’s up with all the new employees? They need to be trained on customer service. They stare HARD when we walk in as if they don’t want us there. The esquites are WATERY and they put very little toppings. It used to not be like this but lately the service is really turning me away and making me not want to come back. Please fix bc I love this place and telling everyone about it!

This place is amazing... So many delicious homemade options to choose from. The young lady that helped us with our order was knowledgeable and very helpful and patient with my kids taking forever to pick out their flavors. Price was super reasonable... The bandera pop was sooo good!! We will be back very soon
I went on Friday when they had Taco Spot over (which was also a 10/10). The ice cream, popsicles, and mangonadas tasted fresh with the right amount of sweetness!

We were driving down Cottage Hill and my wife said "I need a mangonada". She was raving later about this unique (prior to coming to Jefe Paletas) treat. I had a tasty strawberry/kiwi. We'll be back.
