I’m so sad it closed down. JJ’s Seafood was my favorite place to eat, and whenever I went there to eat, it was always so good, and never left there without leftovers! I’ll miss eating at my favorite place, JJ’s Seafood.❤️

I ordered the 3 way combo through Door Dash which had fried catfish, shrimp, oysters, french fries, and okra with a side of peach cobbler. THIS WAS THE WORST SEAFOOD THAT I EVER ATE IN MY LIFE! I’ve NEVER tasted seafood without any kind of seasoning until I ordered from here. The okra nor fries didn’t have any seasoning on them either. The WHOLE plate was just bland! The peach cobbler was so doughy like it was half done and I had so much doughy crust which was crazy because I had requested to have more peaches than crust. They really need to invest in purchasing seasoned fish fry.

The food was mediocre at best. We ordered all you can eat catfish, shrimp dinner and chicken tenders and fries. The catfish plate came with 2 small pieces of fish and 2 hushpuppies and sides were salad and baked potato. There were 2 very small pieces of fish and 2 hush puppies on the plate. They were not busy and had 4 servers. Our server was not friendly at all!! She never came back to refill drinks, see if there was anything else we needed or to see if we needed anymore fish. If I could give zero stars for service I would!! I am a big believer in tipping and I tip very good for good service. Needless to say Her tip reflected her service. She had another table by us and they weren't happy with her service either. If you work for tips then be friendly and make sure you customers are taken care of, don't just literally drop the food, leave and not come back.

July 14, 2025. 3 of us went in about 3:20. It wasn't crowded. The waitress came over, no smile, a grimace, definitely not happy to be there. She brought our drinks and disappeared for almost 40 minutes. Our drinks had been empty for awhile. We called over another waitress to ask about our order. It wasn't ready yet. She said they were out of cole slaw would you like something else. We got up and left. We finally saw our waitress as we walked out the door. I used to like this place.
Was our date night, decided to try it out. I ordered the seafood platter, hubby ordered a shrimp poor boy. I was very disappointed, cheese grits were stone cold, flounder was not fresh, oyster were not good(hubby tried those), his sandwich was blah. Never refilled our drink glasses. We can say we tried it.

The fries and okra were bland as well. Like who doesn’t season their fish fry?!

Well my son is the only one that had fish all you can eat but they accused me of taking out fish and they charged me for all of my boxes and it was just my left over's and plus they was very rude 😡
