I am visiting family in Mobile and found this on Yelp. It happened to be close so I stopped by, actually I was looking for fresh fish. They had good looking tuna and shrimp but I wasn't sure my family liked tuna. (I do, cooked and sashimi.) so I passed on the tuna. But I bought several homemade items in the refrigerated case: remoulade, tartar sauce, smoked chicken salad, smoked tuna spread or dip, crab cakes, and my family's favorite -- the crawfish dip. I hardly got a bite of it. The owner was real friendly as were the family members or staff who were making crab stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon, looked delicious. And what really looked good were the big rib steaks marinating in the refrigerated case and the chicken. Those were not on my menu that day but i hope I get to try them some time. I can already smell them on the grill! I hope people will give this local business some business! 31 years in business.

Bone-In Ribeye. The most tender steak & could have easily fed 3 people! Also, I had to get some marinated crab claws. Fantastic ?

This is the place you want to go for good food, and a staff that is always very friendly. A great place to stop if you need some homemade, delicious items to bring to a party or potluck. The chicken salad is my favorite, and doesn't last long with my family.

Once again we had the BEST smoked turkey at Thanksgiving. I come here often and have tried the freezer items, seafood and meat. ALWAYS good and the friendliest family. Oh and I almost forgot the smoked chicken salad and west indies salad and all the cooler items they have as well. I don't know if the chicken salad has won any awards but it should!

They had everything we needed for a great seafood dinner. Shrimp, baked beans, cocktail sauce, fresh salad, cheese straws, and even homemade brownies for desert. So delicious! Loved it!

When it comes to reviews ima make emAnywho I was recommended to try the store due to the fact that they are family Run with good deals (so I was told) so a family friend of mine recommended me to go here for the sausages I was looking for, only to find out they are twice as high as the grocery store I paid 8.50 for 1 pound of sausage I don’t know where they do that when I can get 5 pounds of hot sausage for $4 it’s outrageous the pricesThe people were nice & sweet but those prices are highway robbery fr Atlanta is cheaper than this yet I’m in the country getting finessedEither way use EBT here if you have it

Not happy with “FRESH SHRIMP” after one day in fridge they were spoiled. Owner would not replace or refund. Wont be going back.

The service is fantastic - they are very sweet, friendly people. But I'm very disappointed with the turkey I received. They offered smoked and cajun smoked turkeys. I ordered smoked, not realizing that even the smoked has cajun seasoning on the skin. I ordered smoked turkeys from other markets before and they never had cajun seasoning. The cajun flavors really don't complement the traditional seasonings used in the rest of my Thanksgiving meal. Plus the turkey was way overcooked. Even the dark meat was dry and inedible. I'm glad I got a backup turkey at Mosley's or my family's meal would have been ruined!I feel I wasted $60 at Lad's and Dad's. I guess it's a buyer beware situation.
