Passion for food is the theme here. Every tiny detail is attended to. You will come across aged beef in several places around Baldwin county and surrounding, but nothing like what you get here. Go all in! Get the most aged steak they have and see what you’ve been missing out on in life. It is served perfectly cooked on a plate by itself because that’s really all you need. They have sides and accoutrements but that steak is a flavor experience all its own.
Thanks to JT, Paul, Adam, Ashton, and Rose (who arranged for the private dining room) for extraordinary service, incredible food, and a totally wonderful dining experience last evening, in celebration of my 80th birthday. This was an event and a meal I will long remember fondly. Thanks also to my wife, Linda, my daughters, Jenny Grill and her husband, Jean-Marc Wise, and my daughter Marilea Grill Gordon, and most of my grandchildren, Powell Gordon and his wife Hannah, Rose, and Meg Gordon for participating, and to my sister, who couldn't be with us, for providing the wine. It was a fabulous evening. Thanks to Le Moyne for offering complimentary champagne for the birthday celebration.
We went for dinner tonight. The meal was amazing and the service was even better.
My wife and I were celebrating the tenth anniversary of our first date and we happened to be in Mobile. As luck would have it, we selected LeMoyne's to make reservations for dinner. The service and food were both excellent, and the quiet and elegant atmosphere were ideal for a night of celebration. The staff was accomodating, friendly, and attentive. Every course that we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Noisy and very distracting. We left without even finishing our food. Thank you to the couple for taking the initiative that the “director” would not even take, though surprisingly they were asked to leave. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Next time we will go to Dauphins as we intended.
I feel as though this place is trying hard to be an upper echelon restaurant for Mobile, but its not quite there. Perhaps my expectations were unrealistic after hearing about Le Moyne's for a few months. Its ok though, im here to give an honest review so they can improve. Everything was good, but nothing was truly great. The NY Strip WAS pretty tasty, cooked just right, but the creamed spinach, brussel sprouts and creme brulee were just ok. The duck breast my girl had was very fatty and neither of us thought it was that great. To be fair, the prices really are fairly reasonable for a premium steakhouse. Maybe the quality is commensurate with current pricing? I still would recommend giving it a go, but dont expect anything on the menu to light your hair on fire.

The staff was amazing. They were very kind and accommodating. The crab cake and creamed spinach was delicious. My issue was with my entrée. I ordered the scallops and took one bite and immediately got the strong taste of ammonia meaning the scallops were bad! To be sure that it wasn’t just me someone else dining at my table ordered the scallops as well and had the same complaint. If this is a fine dining establishment, the chef should know when the food being prepared is bad.

This is an exceptional restaurant.
The decor embraces the atmosphere, which is refined without being over-the-top ; just right! The lighting is appropriate and the noise level most comfortable.
Our waiter, Adam, made our dinner a wonderful experience. Being very professional, knowledgeable and pacing the service to our needs without being asked.
The food is very well prepared, presented and tasteful. A very good wine list that enhances the dining experience.
We will be returning!

This is a great place if you’re staying at the admiral. Seems to be low key even though it was a week day. But, food, drinks, and service were great. Nothing to complain about.

I am just now getting a chance to write this Google review for LeMoyne's after we dined there on Nov. 1st for our anniversary. We were super excited to try the restaurant since it is new(er) to Mobile. When we first walked in, the restaurant smelled very strong of fish. My nose is super sensitive so I ignored it thinking it was just me. My husband though who never mentions a thing about smells commented on it twice just walking to the table. We could have certainly overlooked that though. When I went to sit down my handbag strap (that I had just received as an anniversary gift) wouldn't fit on the back of the chair due to the shape of the back and the fabric being so slick. Again, not anything too major but just enough to be an inconvenience and something that should have been thought out at a high end restaurant. It was SO dark at our table. They had a little lamp sitting on it but it almost seemed as if that was an after thought. It was just hard to read the menu even with the lamp on. After sitting down, we ordered drinks. I ordered a lemon drop martini which was just ok, nothing to write home about. My husband ordered a Michelob Ultra in a bottle. It was brought to him in a wine glass. Not to mention that there is no way the entire bottle of beer even fit in that glass. He was not happy. When someone orders a drink a specific way, it needs to be brought to the table that way. On to food, I ordered the lobster bisque which was good overall just overly salty. I also ordered the scallops which were a total disappointment. The menu had the description of "crawfish risotto, shellfish reduction, chive oil, garden herbs". I don't find that one single item in that description was true. I am not even 100% convinced that it was actually risotto to begin with as it was dry and almost fluffy which isn't the consistency of risotto. It tasted JUST like the yellow spanish rice you can buy at Publix for $1 which was a massive disappointment and not what I was wanting at all. The scallops were cooked well but I only had about 2 bites of the "risotto". My husband ordered the NY Strip and he said overall it was good. Not great, but good. For sides we ordered the crispy brussels sprouts and the truffle frites. The brussels sprouts were not crispy AT ALL. In fact, they were soggy on the outside with an undercooked center which was so odd. I did mention that to the waitress and she had it removed from our bill which was a nice gesture but she didn't seem to understand that they weren't crispy. Her comment was "oh they weren't crispy enough?", no. You could look at them and see that they were mushy. The truffle frites again were just ok. It was a very small serving (think a medium McDonalds Fry) and for $13 I expected something that would be easy for us to share and it wasn't. A manager never came by to check on us which for a chophouse with very few tables in it there really is no excuse for. Overall, we immediately said after dinner that we wished we would have just gone to Ruth's Chris because we would have spent the same amount of money but we both would have been way happier. I don't see a time where we would come back unless the menu was changed and/or the chef was different. This isn't a fine dining restaurant and they should really think about the marketing they are putting out there because it just leads to disappointment. Such a bummer because we were really hoping to find a new great spot for us to frequent.

Good news is that the taste and presentation of the food were great. Bad news is that the service was TERRIBLE. Worst dining service we’ve ever had. We had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time due to other diners holding a table (not the restaurants fault), but once they left you’d expect them to clear the table immediately, but we ended up not being seated for another 10 minutes. Our waiter was woefully unprepared to handle fine dining customers (didn’t know how to use a corkscrew…). Not once did a manager come by and check on the table or ask us how things were etc. Small touches you expect at a place that charges $40+ for a steak were nonexistent. Drinks and food took way too long to come out. Our appetizer order was wrong, they finally brought out the correct but still charged us for both. Avoid this place. We will not be back.

Ate there last night for the first time. Outstanding in every respect. Food was delicious. Steak done to perfection. The circuses of the restaurant and hotel are really beautiful. Highly recommend this place.
