Enjoyed the breeze at the upstairs bar. Split appetizers. The Mardi Shrimp was very good but smaller portion than in the past… We also ordered the shrimp Brunel sprouts kabobs. Typically, tasty choice, however the sprouts were very undercooked. They were hard. We did bring home and enjoyed after waiting them ourselves. Our drinks were good! Bartender was attentive.

Order steam shrimp to go and 1 1//2 of shrimp with heads. Steamed shrimp was so tough we finally gave up and threw them out. We also got severely shorted on raw shrimp. WILL NOT GO BACK.

We met a couple of friends who live in Mobile for a fun lunch. I am very glad that they recommended Mudbugs. We had po boys, steamed royal reds, fried crab claws and gumbo. The gumbo wasn’t hot enough. They do a great job frying and the steamed shrimp was really great. This is a seafood market with a small restaurant. You eat on metal tables out of styrofoam containers with plastic utensils. Everything was clean and well supplied. We also brought snapper and royal reds home with us. This is a great place for fresh seafood.

Always stop by when visiting Mobile. Have never been disappointed with the shrimp dinner with fries and okra. Generous portions. Recommend ordering extra hush puppies.

We stopped here for lunch & so glad we did.....it was soooo good! Friendly, attentive staff, wonderful food & a fun atmosphere. Not sure when we'll be back to Mobile, but you can bet Mudbugs will be at the top of our 'Must Go' list.....!

The food was excellent and plentiful, much more than expected. The staff treated us like regulars, we were not regulars and were unsure of how to order, we felt pressured to order faster. I will go back next time knowing how to order!

My friends took me here and it was the greatest. We had mud bugs, fish, shrimp and everything is fresh made to order. You will not be disappointed!
