Enjoyed the breeze at the upstairs bar. Split appetizers. The Mardi Shrimp was very good but smaller portion than in the past… We also ordered the shrimp Brunel sprouts kabobs. Typically, tasty choice, however the sprouts were very undercooked. They were hard. We did bring home and enjoyed after waiting them ourselves. Our drinks were good! Bartender was attentive.

We met a couple of friends who live in Mobile for a fun lunch. I am very glad that they recommended Mudbugs. We had po boys, steamed royal reds, fried crab claws and gumbo. The gumbo wasn’t hot enough. They do a great job frying and the steamed shrimp was really great. This is a seafood market with a small restaurant. You eat on metal tables out of styrofoam containers with plastic utensils. Everything was clean and well supplied. We also brought snapper and royal reds home...

We stopped here for lunch & so glad we did.....it was soooo good! Friendly, attentive staff, wonderful food & a fun atmosphere. Not sure when we'll be back to Mobile, but you can bet Mudbugs will be at the top of our 'Must Go' list.....!
