Los Rancheros Mexican Restaurant

Me and my partner have been here a few times, each time the food is very good and we enjoy the atmosphere. Not too quiet, not too loud. Past times we never had much of an issue with a server, they've always been kind and made sure to check on us. This past time, however, we ran into someone not so nice. She started off alright, took our order and gave us our water. When our food came she placed my food in front of me but ended up shoving a finger in my partners food and asked if he wanted her to send it back and replace it. He asked if she had washed her hands and she hesitated and made a face pretty much indicated that, no, she did not wash her hands. He said he'd like her to replace it but she just put the plate in front of him and walked off. He is nonconfrontational so he decided to eat around it because they serve large portions. After that she checked on us one time during our meal and never offered to refill our water nor did she give us any napkins, which are not left in dispensers on the tables. During the end of our meal, while we were still eating and talking, she came up and gave us the check. It felt like she was rushing us at that point, but then made it worse by taking my partners food right out from in front of him, placing it on another table nearby, and then taking his card to go pay for the meal. He was not done with his food, he still had over 1/3 left on his plate. She didnt take my plate for some reason. He continued to eat his cheese and chips, though I could tell he was upset from that. As soon as she returned his card we left. By far the worst experience we've had so far, from the rude attitude to the finger in the food and the rushing us out I hope we never have to deal with her again. Its sad because other than that this is one of our favorite places to eat.

Oddly enough, the memo is the exact same as Don Carlos in Daphne. That's where the comparison stops. The food is mediocre and lacked basic flavor. Service was great.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Mobile. The food was certainly more greasy and saltier than usual, they said it's a new supplier. I'll continue to give em a few more chances, they have some of the best salsa 🙂

I came in their this evening for some frozen margaritas and my van was being robbed in parking lot by thieves that work there and management knew about it , that's why they kept looking at me ,DON'T EAT FROM THERE YOU WILL BE ROBBED
The waitress was pushee, i said I'm not eating don't ask me twice

Our waiter was impatient and uncaring. Vegetarian Fajitas weren't tasty at all, instead of Cauliflower and Broccoli florets they had stubs and everything was chopped into tiny pieces. Taco salad was good. Salsa was watery but the chips were thin and crispy.

Met several friends at Los Rancheros. Always good and always a good time and place for friends to meet.

Quality Mexican style eating. Prices are fair with ample seating. This location has been in operation for a long time and has remained consistent.

Always great service & food! I’m never disappointed

It been years it will be many be for I come back.
