The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is the popcorn shrimp was decent. The fries have no flavor (like a raw potato out of the dirt has more flavor), the hush puppies were not done, and the sweet tea tasted like it was a week old with some sort of chemical flavor. Just gross!!

Just ordered two fried fish plates today from Love’s Seafood and it was not good AT ALL the fish had no seasoning and I don’t think they even tried to season the fries I will not be back! The one hush puppy they give you in the meal was good but if you want good seafood go somewhere else. I wouldn’t want you to waste your money on tasteless seafood!

I can’t remember how I found out about Love’s seafood but I wanted to give it a try. I know I’ve passed the one on Springhill but have never been. The Azalea road location is much closer to me. Anyway, I was checking their menu because I wanted to do takeout. I saw that they had a soft shell crab poboy. That sounded very interesting to me. I’d never had a crab poboy before. I ordered that and it came with fries. I went to pick up my food. When I was on the phone ordering the person taking my order informed me that I could pick up my order through the drive thru. That was not a problem. He explained that the inside of the restaurant was closed. I’m not sure when the inside closes but I ordered around 7 or so. Like I said that wasn’t a problem for me. I was in the drive thru for a few minutes and picked up my food fairly quickly. When I got home I was eager to find out what this poboy was about. I peeked at the sandwich and was a little underwhelmed. To be fair, I didn’t really know what to expect. I think I thought the poboy would be fuller than it was. Now when I bit into the sandwich it was really good. It had a lot of flavor it just was a small sandwich. The fries with my poboy were pretty good. No complaints there. Even though I was a little underwhelmed with the poboy I still want to go back and try other items on the menu. The seafood boils look delicious.
This was my first time visiting here. I can say that the food is pretty good & at a reasonable price.
