Located at 3692 Airport Blvd in Mobile, the pub greets you with friendly staff and a unique setting—walls adorned with dollar bills, each carrying its own story, adding to the cozy, lived-in vibe.
Food & Drink
The menu is packed with pub favorites and a few Irish-inspired classics. The chicken wings are a standout—juicy, flavorful, and generously sized, with sauces that deliver depth and umami. Many regulars rave that these are the best wings in Mobile, and after trying them, it’s easy to see why. If you’re a burger fan, you’ll be pleased with the options here. The burgers are fresh, not frozen, and come with limitless combinations of toppings, served alongside crispy fries or some of the best onion rings in town.
Other highlights include the Bangers and Mash, which is cooked to perfection, and the shepherd’s pie, served in hearty portions and full of flavor. The menu also features wraps, sandwiches, and classic pub appetizers like fried pickles and mozzarella sticks.
Atmosphere & Service
Lucky Irish Pub & Grill strikes a balance between dive bar and welcoming neighborhood hangout. The staff are attentive and personable, often remembered by name, which adds to the sense of community. The bar is decorated with Irish touches and has TVs for catching sports—rugby and soccer are often on, adding to the authentic pub feel. While the atmosphere is generally laid-back and pleasant, some reviews mention that the vibe can be a bit hit-or-miss depending on the crowd and time of visit.
Summary
If you’re after a hearty meal in a no-frills, friendly setting, Lucky Irish Pub & Grill delivers. The wings and burgers are must-tries, and the Irish-inspired dishes round out a menu that’s both comforting and satisfying. It’s a place where you can unwind, enjoy good company, and savor classic pub fare at its best.
Food was average prices were not! Service was lackluster took forever to get her attention and receive refills on drinks.
Yeah, well obviously, um… wow. Just, y’know, proper special. We walked in not expectin’ much, just a few pints and a telly to watch the final on, yeah… but Lucky’s — they made it feel like Wembley, honestly. Place was packed, wall to wall in lilywhite. You could feel the nerves, yeah, but the energy… it was unreal.
When that final whistle went and we finally lifted it (first bit of European silverware in 41 years) I’m not gonna lie, bit emotional. I think I hugged a bloke from Birmingham and a crying child at the same time. Tears, y’know? Tears in an Irish pub in Alabama. You'll never sing that.
The staff were class, memorized our orders and supplied refills in the backroom throughout the match without asking. Proper Guinness, chips crispy, music was bangin’ they even played “Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur” on the jukebox, and there isn't even a jukebox. That’s commitment.
This place’ll always have a place in my heart now. It’s where we did it. Where it finally happened. Up the Spurs, and up Lucky’s.
Cheers lads, see ya next season — hopefully with another trophy, yeah?
Only negative is the hours the close.
Best in the biz 💚 great food!
On arrival I loved the place the food was great first time there since I’m from out of state .The server we had her name was Chelsea she seemed off but I thought it was because it was Christmas night so it was a little busy but also she ranted how she got drunk the night before etc but in all her service wasn’t attentive at all . After paying i checked my bank statement when i got back home and to my surprise she added her own tip PLEASE BEWARE OF THE SERVER CHELSEA SHE OBVIOUSLY WILL STEAL AND OVER CHARGE YOUR CARD . I will be pressing charges and moving forward with action this is ridiculous . It’s not hard to be a good person these days
