Good food cooked on order. The hamburger steak with onion gravy and mashed potatoes were excellent. It’s basically a small pub with good food. Plenty of cold beer from the bar and very casual. The chicken with rosemary was also delicious. Need more TV monitors for a better experience.

We visited for lunch around Memorial Day 2025. It was busy, but we were able to sit at the bar. It is a smaller restaurant, maybe 70 people or less can sit at once. Still it had good reviews and we love trying new places.
We ordered a burger and grilled cheese. Sodas are in the can, but they have a lot of wine, spirits and beer on hand. The kitchen is pretty small, so it is a smaller menu (at least for lunch). Everything we had was good though. Service was a little slow, but they were quite busy. The wait staff was nice.

Cozy little place I go to for lunch sometimes. The menu is small but has always been good, and their specials change every day. Staff is very friendly and attentive.
I've been looking for a place like this that isn't too crowded and just has a nice atmosphere for me to zone out and enjoy lunch on my own, and this is perfect for that.

Went here for dinner. Cozy atmosphere and nice local vibe. However, we waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. Drink orders were taken. We waited for another 20-25 minutes for drinks and to place our order. Never received our drinks and never had the opportunity to order. After 40-45 minutes, we gave up and opted to leave and go elsewhere. Disappointed we didn’t get to try the food as we really liked the atmosphere.

We stayed overnight in Mobile, Maghees was near the hotel. We had a delicious corn and crab chowder and a grilled grouper. The food was great. I believe Shelly is the owner and she was very courteous. Definitely an addition to the road trip favorites list.
Awesome awesome food! Beautiful atmosphere for a little grill! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Mobile. Shelli was our amazing hostess who made sure we were satisfied ❤️
