T Marie's Ristorante Italiano

Last night was my first visit. My friend and I didn’t know that we needed a reservation, but the hostess was very accommodating and quickly seated us. I thoroughly enjoyed the intimacy of the restaurant. Our waitress was Ashely, and she was amazing! She checked on us often and took care of our every need. The food was delicious, and I’m a picky eater, so that’s saying a lot! On our way out, the bartender bid us a good night, as he did other other guests, and Ashley held the door for us and welcomed us to come back. Very nice!

The veal was tough and the sauce had curdled. The cheese ravioli was served warm not hot. The most egregious though was we were charged twice for our dinner which we told the server that night. Told there was nothing they could do yet they would call the next day. Didn't happen. I had to call them. Told they couldn't see the charge on their end. The next day both charges posted to my bank account so I went in person to talk with them. Yes, I went during lunch, but the owner told me it was too soon for a refund even though I provided proof the charges had posted and the funds taken from my account. She told me a third party handles the charges and there was nothing she could do and she couldn't refund money she had not received yet. This can be refunded quite easily and in a timely manner if they actually had good customer service. Will not be back.

Where to start. We were so hopeful to find a good Italian restaurant. This was so very disappointing 😞 let's start with the waiter not friendly in the beginning 😕 did not explain the menu. The waiter behind us offered suggestions and spoke of the dishes. Main course my husband ordered the veal a chunk of hard veal. Sauce no flavor. My meal chicken parm with eggplant parm. A big hunk of dried chicken salty crust. The red sauce or gravy as we call it on the East Coast was tasteless. It started with the bread a yeast roll. Goodness no Italian rolls? This was NOT Italian. Our friends ordered the veal also and it was dry and tough the sauce capers and lemon not worth the effort. Let's talk Brussels sprouts wow boiled to death in a salty water pan. Almost Grey looking they were BAD. We will not be returning this was a celebration of friendship that took an expensive turn to bad cooking and bad service. My husband commented on the veal and how tough it was. He was ignored.

Guess if you're black they dont want your business. Hostess had to ask the manager can she seat us. Then told us we'd have to be seated in the back. Walked off and came back and said the kitchen is busy we'd have to wait 10 min to be seated. After waiting 20 min we decided to leave. While sitting in the car thinking of where we're going now we saw 2 Caucasian couples walk in and immediately be seated. The musician was great though.

Excellent food, the pasta was incredible.

The food is good. But the owner never walks around and asks her customers how the food is. She talked to some random guy at the front door the entire time. What Italian restaurant serves yeast rolls. This place could be so good but it lacks ambience and heart

Don’t let the appearance, inside and out, fool you, the pasta here is insanely good. Deep flavors and great pasta.

We will definitely be back!! The only problem was they go against safe food handling practices because they fry everything in the same fryer, so if you have a seafood allergy don't get anything fried.

Husband and I just came over from a trip to NOLA from Houston and were looking for something other than Southern cuisine (seafood). We found this on line and were incredibly impressed with the entire experience. Can't say enough about Nathan, his recommendations were spot on! Especially the Calamari. Best ever!! If you are in town do not pass this one up!

A delightful surprise finding this quaint spot for fantastic homemade Italian food. The Tiramisu was delicious. Stevie P. was very friendly and informative. Great experience overall.
