Within walking distance of both Renaissance hotels. We're from New Orleans, and we've tried beignets in other cities and states and these are the BEST I've had!! So fluffy and hot!! Maybe even better than the ones at CD in NOLA.

Love this place! Took my family last night & treated them to the one downtown and all the beignets were hollow in the center. Thin on the outside and nothing in the middle.. usually so fluffy! Maybe was just an off night but I raved how much better than Cafe Du Monde & was disappointed. The seasonal pumpkin & apple dipping sauces were delicious but didnt get to really enjoy as there was little to nothing to dip in them.
It is locally owned, and the beignets were amazing. Thus was my first time eating a beignet. It will not be my last. Stop by if you are in Mobile,

So great I went twice in 2 days! Once for the food tour with Beignet Bites and then I went back to hang out and kill some time while I waited to go to the Greyhound Station. Good Cafe Au Lait and the Beignets are delicous. Also liked the dipping sauce for the beignets. You have to go here if you ever go to Mobile. This place is just so very cool. Sat and charged my tablet, listened to the music and people watched!
Worst beignets ever. They have almost no flavor. Coffee was awful and the girl working the kitchen had a look on her face like someone just killed her dog. Awful food, service and ambiance
