I visited for my birthday and I had tried calling a week ahead to make reservations but the owner wasn’t there and didn’t ever call me back. I called two days before my birthday dinner but the owner still wasn’t there so I was told it was okay to come. There is automatically a 15% fee for a party of 5 which would normally be okay but the server wasn’t attentive at all, the food took a while to come, and some of the food was cold. I love trying new places especially places...

Simply have NOT had a bad meal here. From the sandwiches to the salads, everything has always been hot, fresh and delicious. The restaurant may not be top of mind when you're thinking of dining out, but do yourself a favor, skip the chain restaurant one night and support a local place with excellent food, a great wait staff and a relaxing atmosphere.

Just happened to find this place by accident while visiting from Ohio. Definitely had the home cooking / family owned vibe. Food was fantastic. Had the fried crab claws, ribs, shrimp & grits, and the crab cakes. All of it was hot & fresh. The wait staff was very polite and attentive. The bread pudding was absolutely amazing. If I lived down here this place would be on my weekly rotation. Thank you all for a memorable experience. My wife and I will be talking...
