We waited close to 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches and nachos. I also clearly said no tomatoes but they rang up no lettuce instead. When I told them about the mistake they couldn't understand that I wanted NO tomatoes instead of no lettuce. Had to explain like 3 times. I can hear the workers' conversations and they clearly do not know what they are doing and seemed to be fighting over who was doing what job. Can't believe the manager would leave a staff like this alone. Super disappointed and the Auburn location will always be the best.

This place used to be good. It has been bad last few times. I decided to try it one more time. Sandwich was cold and staff acts like it is a bother for you to be in there. Will not return.

WOW. It's been years since we have been here and I'm fine if we never come back. This restaurant is showing its age. It is dark and dirty inside. I really don't need to see the guy making my sandwich pull up his hands every 10 seconds and NOT change his gloves. It took forever to get our sandwiches....I felt like I was at McDonalds. My boyfriend said his sandwich was good but my wrap was so-so. I brought half of it home and would rather eat a PB&J. This place used to be great and a necessary stop when out shopping on the weekends. It is sad to see it go down hill.

Would give it 1 but the sandwich was decent. Walked in and stood at counter for approx 6 minutes. Neither employee acknowledged with as much as a "be with you in a minute." When did get order taken employee just stared at me till I ordered. Neither were familiar with cubano nachos i wanted. There were 2 posterboards inside advertising them. First guy couldn't ring up other nachos which I went with. Sandwich came reasonably quick and was pretty good. Never received nachos. When I asked employee 1 staired at me then said "i got em" i asked "do you really or are you going to start them? I'm in a hurry." He grunted something in the negative so I left. Also when I asked if they had salt packets employee 1 said he didn't know and that was that. Also all TVs were off on NFL Sunday. Assume this location will be closed soon also. Moma Gs better get a handle on this soon or they'll be back to one store in Auburn.

Its 100 degrees outside, hot inside the restaurant. AC broken or turned off? Dined in my car.

Decent sandwich place. Faster the firehouse subs but not quite as good. Sandwiches are steamed so there's a decent chance part of the sandy could come out soggy ;) I got a cuban sandwhich and it came with a cup of vinegar stuff, not a big fan, but hey it was a extra touch i haven't seen. -- I think it was french dip... guess I've never had french dip

I guess I have wanted to try Momma Goldberg's Deli for years. I should have just passed by and kept wondering. The restaurant has a large shared parking lot with many other stores. While it's not especially easy to get off of Airport Blvd, it's not impossible. Because of the way the traffic light is setup, it's easier to get out of than into. We walked in to a dark restaurant. The only lights on were over the prep area. Oh, there were lights, but they weren't turned on. I'm not sure why. We almost didn't go in because we weren't sure if the restaurant was open to begin with. There were several tables of people waiting after ordering at the counter. Two younger staff members were working. We were confused about where to order until we saw the make shift sign at the register to order there. By the way, we stood there looking for how to order while the staff member at the register could have cared less if we ordered or not. It's a sandwich shop with plenty of options. I was happy. There were, however, two of my favorite sandwiches and I debated hard between the Reuben and the pastrami with the Ruben winning out. I was intrigued by the soups and settled on the chili. A drink and a bag of chips completed my order. My wife wanted only two scoops of chicken salad, and a drink. We were given cups after ice was placed into them by the staff member at the register. Strange that ice is rationed, but the drink fountain is accessible by all. We filled our cups, I was handed my chips and we waited for the food. As we sat, the staff began calling names out for orders that were ready. Funny, they didn't ask for ours. A nearly boiling cup of chili was delivered to the table. No spoon, no napkins, no crackers, no explanation about where to get them. And the chili was so haphazardly spilled when filling the cup that it was all over the sides and bottom of the container. It really irritates me that the employees cared so little about customer service or presentation they would serve something like this. See the picture attached to this review. I went and found everything I needed to eat the chili. I didn't know this was the way it worked here. I had never been here. The sandwich was good. I wish there had been just a bit more 1000 Island Dressing in the Reuben. But otherwise it was good. The chili on the other hand was lackluster. No flavor, no spice - just burn your mouth temperature. The chicken salad my wife received she didn't eat and I wouldn't have either. I had a bite of it and It was flavorless. Needless to say that although the bill wasn't bad, the lack of customer service and the disappointing food beyond the sandwich has me scratching my head as to whether or not I would return. Maybe it was a bad day. Maybe it was a bad location. Either way it was just a bad experience.

We haven't been in for a while. It was one of our favorite places, but after today we likely won't be back. We walked in and the health rating was lower than ever before, but we were there and it was terrible so we decided to stay. After standing to order for 10 minutes or so, neither employee acknowledged us even though both made eye contact several times. We noticed they were short handed for sure. Finally, the girl tells us that you have to order at the register which is different than how it always was where you ordered at the other end where the menu was. Still, we go with it. Finally, we are standing there to order and start noticed 4 or 5 tables sitting with no food but drinks. My husband tells me all these people are waiting for their food. Surely not I think. It comes time for us to order and the other employee tells us it will be just a minute. He starts helping to make orders while it looks like he's on his cell phone. Then we start counting, a total of 7 orders ahead of ours with no food and one person making sandwiches. We see one guy who is noticeably irritated and we decide to find somewhere else. As we were leaving, the guy informs us that he has been waiting 25 minutes for his food, and he was ahead of the other 6 customers we counted. It's highly disappointing because we loved the food and nachos, but you could tell things weren't the way they used to be.

only 2 ppl working during lunch and they were slow and argued with each other the whole time. the sandwiches weren't steamed like they used to be. the bread was barely warm...the entire inside of the sandwich was COLD. not served wrapped in foil like it used to be when they actually steamed the sandwich. nachos were soggy. food took forever. the service was not pleasant. realized their health score was an 85 after we started eating. even a good amt of the pictures and decor were noticeably missing off the wall...just nails.
