i have no idea how this place has such high reviews. the last time i went, the employees were arguing with one another in front of customers. they just made me and my friend stand there as they argued, before taking the order. As we sat down to wait for our food, not a single table was clean. We had to manually clean the table we waited at.
the food also took quite a long time for a seafood boil, compared to other places in Mobile. The shrimp was okay and although it was a bit overcooked, it was the only enjoyable part of the meal. Somehow, the potatoes were bland. I asked for extra spicy and the entire dish barely had a kick, it was closer to mild. The crabs were absolutely awful. They tasted incredibly fishy and did not come out of the crab legs. Every single piece of meat stuck to the inside of the crab legs.
Bad taste would be whatever, but the seafood made me and my partner sick. After a few bites of the food we both had stomach aches and could barely eat the rest of the day. We didn’t even touch the rest of the food, sadly had to waste it and toss it. I tried to call the same day, and I was rudely answered with “well all our seafood is fresh everyday,” even though you could tell the seafood was of low quality. I would NOT recommend this location at all. Absolutely disgusting, poor service, and clearly don’t care about customer satisfaction.
I’m writing this review because I requested a refund that I haven’t received. I keep being told it will take 3-5 business days, but it has been 8. How can you charge $60 for poor food?? Doesn’t even come with lemons. Every time I call, I get told a manager will follow up but never hear back. Not a way to run a business, especially when you serve food that can make people sick.

I come here everytime I come to Mobile. Service is always exceptional. This time the cashier at the front going to tell me what I can't get. She said it had to be all fried options when I ordered the pick 2 w/fried shrimp and steamed crab claws and fries. She told ne I couldn't get that. She rung me up from a steamed crab claw, potatoes, corn and sausage. I don't eat that. I asked her could I get fries in place of the potatoes corn and sausage and she said no, yiubwill have to pay for them. So I asked another employee why I couldn't get what I asked for and he said I could and him and the kitchen staff made it right. They were extremely nice. But while I was asking him she was over there telling someone else she want this and I told her she couldn't get that etc.... with her rude self. I spent over $60 why can't I get what I ordered. I always have before now. She was so freaking rude and in spending my money. I will be back but if she at the register I'm walking back out! I came here on 11/5 today about 1:05pm so you can know who was working the register cause I don't want to sound like I'm being a racist or anything. The cameras don't lie!!!!

We visit this place every year when we travel to Florida, and it’s always a must-stop for us! The fresh seafood here are absolutely unbeatable — nothing else compares. Especially the local royal shrimp — once you try them, you’ll understand why no one ever stops at just one! Highly recommend this place!
