New favorite coffee place! I have found very few coffee shops in Mobile that have genuine real coffee. If you don't have coffee breath, it isn't real coffee! From the smell of the beans being ground, to the taste of the espresso, it's all amazing! I appreciate that when I ordered a flat white I was not asked what size I wanted because a flat white should only be one size! I love the employees, I love the atmosphere. I will be back!

Great specialty coffee shop! It seems like they lean third-wave but also offer a little something for everyone. I tried one of the fall seasonals — “Siena,” molasses and orange — half sweet as a hot latte for here, and it was really tasty. As a barista, it’s easy for me to be disappointed at other coffee shops, but the execution on my drink was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though it took a while to order on a Saturday as it was quite busy, my drink was ready very quickly. And I really enjoyed the atmosphere as a hangout or study space. Nova was recommended to me by several friends and I agree — you’ve got to check this spot out when in Mobile! Back when I used to come visit the area in high school there were no good coffee shops around, so I’m very happy there have been a few additions to the coffee scene since I last visited!
Love Nova Espresso - always a good spot to enjoy good-tasting coffee or matcha. Relaxed outdoor seating area. Good for quiet studying inside. Love the collab with Front Yard Tacos.
