My wife and I try to go here at least once a week on Sundays. The food is good, and the service good. If you're looking for good down home cooking try here. The typical order is 1 meat and 3 vegetables. Typical choices are fried pork chops, baked and fried chicken, red beans and rice, chop steak, and a couple more entrees. Skip the chain restaurants. This is the best small business in Mobile. Hamburger steak w potatoes. Cornbread is great….all the vegetables are perfect. Airport Blvd traffic is rough….but it’s worth it for this quality.
Y'all. I'm not kidding about this place. They sprinkle all of their food with magic. The only problem I have here is whether to get the fried chicken or the fried pork chops. ALL of the sides are delicious. They give you so much food that you have to hold the container with both hands. I always leave with another full meal for leftovers. I don't know what they do to make all their food so good but I hope they keep it up.
