One of my favorite restaurants! I've never had a bad meal from Outback Steakhouse. I love getting a steak and a baked potato. Their salad dressings are delicious, and their brown bread is HEAVENLY. It's a perfect place for a celebratory dinner, either alone or with others.
Awesome experience in every definition of the word.
Food was excellent. The outback team member welcomed me as soon as I pulled up to see if she could assist me. Beautiful personality, service was faster then expected and stayed hot until i got home to eat it.
Wonderful service
Will be back.
Service was great! Server was very nice and extremely accommodating! However, the food was terrible.. blooming onion was delicious but that’s the only good part. Chicken was tough and flavorless, fries were good. Burger was disappointing, bun was soggy and had cucumbers on it for some reason- either way it tasted terrible. Flies all around the restaurant aswell.
I live in Baldwin county, but any time my wife and I go to Mobile for something, we stop at Outback to eat, since there is not one in Baldwin County. We have always had a great experience, but for some reason today 3 July 2025 , I am not sure if they hired new cooks, but the food was absolutely AMAZING and perfect. The blooming onion was the best we have ever had. The baked potato and salads were great!!!! The waiter was very attentive and got our food to us and cleared off our table in a timely manner. I am ready to go back already 😂
My guest and I both had the 13oz Ribeye, medium rare. The cook temp was on point, and the cut of meat was good. The young lady waiting on us was new at serving and a little nervous, but overall she did well. Serving is something perfected over time. She'll catch on.
They took our reservation of 14-the manager approved it at 2:00 We arrived early and were told there would be a 45 minute wait. An hour and a half later we questioned the host staff again only to be met with rude responses, denial, excuses., and eventually asked to leave because naturally we became defendant of our hungry children. The excuse the hostess staff gave was the server didn’t want another party. (Find another job if you don’t want to wait on people) The manager excused the hostess staff because they were all new. How about you take some accountability for the lack of adequate training you provide your staff, the mediocre/subpar standards you set for your staff, and the lack of expectations/standards you promote. Leadership being supportive of that kind of behavior from multiple staff members (and one ever so blunt and snarky [insert choice word here] will be the demise of the business success. They all should find themselves out of a job and forever out of the food service industry because service is beyond what they offer. Instead, they offered to call the cops for us inquiring about our table. Take your business elsewhere Mobile! They don’t deserve a dime!
We joined the waitlist online. Upon checking in, the host told me it would be a 2 hr wait. The restaurant wasn't full so I questioned it. I asked for a manager and she rudely told me that those were the directives of the manager. Then a couple walked out and told us to leave because they had been waiting a hr and. 1/2 and never got food. Another couple who has eaten also told us, “ you don't want to stay”. So we left. It was 5:30pm. I was hoping for a good experience

My wife and I visit the Outback in Mobile, AL at least once or twice per month. We typically sit at the bar and have several drinks with our meal. My wife is a huge fan of the peach sangria. We tried to have dinner at Outback this evening, and were excited when we saw the parking lot was not packed. This typically means there are seats available at the bar. As we entered the restaurant at 5:30, we noticed most of the tables were empty. As we approached the bar, we overheard another guest complaining that they had been seated for an hour and 25 minutes, but hadn't received their appetizer yet. As the guest finished speaking, the manager turned to me and said they will not accept any more guests tonight. How does a restaurant expect to operate if they are turning away guests at 5:30 pm on a Saturday, when the restaurant is half empty? Obviously, we'll be finding a new local restaurant to frequent!!!

Waiting over an hour for food when reservations were made is unacceptable. Waitress didn't explain until after an hour why our food haven't arrived. The excuse was they were taking to go orders. What about customers dining in? Ruined Valentine's Day for many.
