The service and atmosphere were great. The craft cocktails are delicious. Food is fresh and very good. Shrimp scampi is light and flavorful.

My first time here & the service and vibe was incredible. The food was top notch, we got the bread pudding French toast, the chicken bahn mi bao, & a hibiscus mimosa. Everything was super filling and delicious!

We enjoyed a nice dinner tonight at Squid Ink with friends. The atmosphere is pretty good. A little loud, but to be expected in a smaller place. The food was very good. This restaurant boasts they put food in their food which I entirely appreciate in a world of fake meat and chemical additives. I ordered a queen victoria drink, this was supposed to be Absolut Peach vodka, mint, cucumber, agave syrup, ginger ale, orange peel. What i got was something that tasted more like a margarita meets mojito. I was disappointed to have not gotten the drink I ordered. We ordered shrimp scampi (very lemony but tasty) calamari rings and mobtown bao. The portions were generous and everything tasted great. Still just disappointed about my drink so I didn't get a photo of it

I do want to start with a positive that the Tuna nachos were delicious, but I don’t think I’d necessarily call it a nacho. That said, I was looking to have a lighter meal, and I was thrilled to see Bahn Mi on the menu. I had ordered the chicken Bahn Mi, and it was so small. For 3 dollars more I could have gotten a much bigger portion and value with a burger. If you’re gonna substitute the traditional baguette style bread for a Bahn mi but still charge the same price for the small bao that’s a bad deal. It shouldn’t be in the entree menu it’s a starter (serve 3 together ditch the fries and you have a best seller.) 3 for $10 is way more appealing than 1 for $8 with just OK fries. bad deal for its size. Also, my server though very sweet, did not do a good job of recommending any favorites or must haves. When I ordered the Bahn Mi I wanted the dinner size (It was dinner time after all; no clarity from her. ) After I ate my Bahn Mi, I told her I was disappointed I didn’t get the dinner order; she brought me the fries I should have had the first time and charged me an extra dollar (should have been redone in POS system as dinner with the Fries.)To top it off, a Lemonade was $4. Ok. But to charge for a lemonade refill? If this place is gonna charge for refills they need to make that more known, as well as the new credit card fee. I would have gladly paid cash had I been told.Overall I’d still bring people here but my time was disappointing. Locals would know how to navigate the menu better. Portions vs Pricing is a problem for the menu.My bill with tip was $35 for the nachos, single Bao Bahn mi, fries (overcharged $1) and 2 lemonades.

Unique food and drink in a quirky setting with super friendly staff. Even waiting for a table was relaxing. The beef in the burgers is divine and it was delicious.

A unique dining experience in Mobile, AL!?✍?Squid Ink wasn’t voted Mobile’s “Most Innovative Menu” for nothing!Atmosphere: The space here is so fun! You have the option to sit outside where their wooden tables are surrounded by swings that provide a unique dining set up! Inside, there is seating at the bar, on the first floor, and on their second floor that overlooks the restaurant!Service: The workers hear a bustling constantly but still ensure that the food comes out quickly!Menu items: I ordered the Tuna Nachos and the Power Salad! The presentation for the meals is excellent and portrays the delicious flavors well! The entire experience is best described as creative, fun, and unique!? ??

Decided to review this again after another disappointing meal. Originally gave it 3 stars when they first opened, but revising down to 2 stars. The cocktails and burgers are the only redeeming things about this place. I ordered the SOS appetizer (calamari on toast) and it was inedible; absolutely drowning in butter/oil. Ate one bite and had to stop. And I love butter, but this was just too much. Same with the Bahn Mi salad - way way too much dressing. It was salad soup. Portions vs price are also an issue. I paid $14 for three small toasts covered in oily rubber rings that even a dog couldn't eat.
