This is my daughter and I favorite Pho place. Best pho in mobile hands down. The pho has so much depth, flavor, authenticity and comfort. We come eat here almost weekly. The owner makes my daughter a Taro that’s so delicious, she refuses to have it anywhere else. Speaking of the owner, he’s so nice, friendly and outgoing. All the staff at Pho 88 are amazing. We’ve never had a bad meal or bad service. There’s a lot of Pho restaurants in Mobile and the surrounding areas. My daughter and I have likely visited all of them. Pho 88 owns our hearts!

If you’re at a Vietnamese restaurant you have to start the meal with the Laos Beef Jerky. Also, if you’re eating at a Vietnamese restaurant you have to go with the pad Thai chicken.
My Pad Thai serving was huge as was everybody else’s meal at the table at the table.

I wasn’t greeted when i came inside. A lady saw me multiple times and looked me right in my face and didn’t say “Hi, how are you?” or anything. I believe the owner came out and he didn’t speak either until after the fact. I also called and placed the order and he didn’t give me a time frame or price. I got the spring rolls and they were ok until i looked closer and realized the rice paper had little fluffy debris all over it! i got super disgusted and didn’t even finish it but due to me already eating one, i didn’t go in to return it.

Great place to grab a Vietnamese meal, very authentic and very well prepared. The taste was very good the service was great and the offer a military, veterans discount.
This unassuming storefront houses a fantastic, quick meal spot where you’re welcome to linger. Service: Impeccable. Our wait staff and the owner were attentive, humorous, and engaged. Cleanliness: We were impressed by the restaurant. Clean floors, no crumbs in the sauce and oil holders, and a faint whiff of bleach showed pride in ownership. Food: We were on a mission for pho, so I can’t speak for the other menu items. We got V2 (beef pho). It was perfection. The broth was rich but not overpowering, with hints of lemongrass. The noodles were perfectly al dente, the veggies were fresh, and the chili oil was spicy. Not one iota of gristle was present. Recommendation: Ask for double veggies if you, like we, love the crunchy fresh bits in your pho. This place is a hidden gem. You won’t regret a steaming bowl of pho, even on a 100° day. Thanks for feeding us, Pho 88!
