Was my fav place for sushi but the last time I got the VIP/Heart roll I didn’t enjoy it but I thought was 1x thing I got it again yesterday and they have completely changed it up I’m not a fan anymore it looks bigger but the taste is not it for me

Came here on a late dinner on Sunday in September 2024. They are open until 9:00 on Sunday. It’s a small dining room but not crowded at 8:00. Got seated and ordered quickly. Food was prepared and brought soon after that. Good choice of rolls and appetizers. Hibachi was already shut down for the day, but we weren’t there for that. All at our table enjoyed the meal. We plan on trying the Old Shell location next.
Parking: Strip mall parking lot. A little tight for full size trucks.

I normally love rock n roll sushi, but I don’t frequent this location. I did today because it was close to my work and I wanted some lunch before my shift. However, I don’t think I’ll be back to this location. I walked in around 1 (an hour after they open on Sundays) and I noticed the waiter was still doing opening tasks (like making/sweetening teas). Not a huge deal, maybe he was the only one scheduled and things got behind. It happens. The sushi chef was on speaker phone the entire time, and I could hear their conversation over the music. There was also a child in the restaurant, who I assumed was the child of a worker because I was the only customer in the restaurant. Finally, I had planned to sit down and eat, but I was handed my food in a to-bag, so I ended up eating in my car because at this point I did not feel welcome to sit and eat in store. Food was great, but that was expected.

Absolutely horrible… got our order through Uber eats. We order fried rice and it came as a side. Small portion and over priced! Ordered rolls and didn’t come with any soy sauce and the smallest piece of ginger and a drop of wasabi. I won’t ever order from here again. Complete ripoff!!

I made a call at 9:13 and it says they are closed at 10 PM. I tried to make a pick up order. She stated that they were making the last calls and she wasn’t specific with what exactly I tried to order stirfry and there are no longer doing that unfortunately,

Just had the absolute worst experience at this location. We sat down and server immediately acted aggravated, she sprayed the table all over with a cleaner, which proceeded to get in my mouth and in my nose, I let this slide, I ordered the ginger salad with extra ginger dressing, the same thing I’ve ordered for years, she brings out a salad with crab meat and cucumbers, when she finally decided to come back to the table I told her that I ordered the ginger salad she said no you didn’t, I said yes I’ve ordered the same thing for years she proceeded to argue and get louder which made me get loud, this is not in my character, so I told her Never-mind we would just leave. She was the absolute rudest server I’ve ever dealt with. Ownership please reconsider this young ladies employment, someone like this should not be representing your business
Food was good. Fried rice had a good taste but texture was off, almost slightly uncooked. Place is really small. Would go again.

Very nice service but the miso soup was too salty, the sushi was really good. I recommend it if your ok with salty miso’s other than that awesomeplace.P.S. It was an attempt by my 8-year-old daughter to write an honest review of our lunch experience at a new place .

I honestly was not impressed. I usually go to Osaka but wanted to try something different. I wish I would've gone where I normally go. Service was . Food was also . Ever since when does the receipt suggest up to 30% tip? Not worth it.

It's Mardi Gras weekend and we have our pup and couldn't find any outside seating for us and the pup... That was until Rock N Roll Sushi! They had the friendliest staff and were so accommodating!! We had the Sweet Home Alabama with cream cheese, Prima Donna and MetalHead rolls and they were amazing. Because of the experience this afternoon, I'll definitely be coming back to eat here when I visit Mobile!
