I was going to eat here on Thursday morning for breakfast since it was close to my hotel. My fiancé and I walked in, the place smelled like mildew and had like 3 people inside eating when everywhere else was packed. We sat kind of in the back, and the mildew smell got stronger. We got up and walked out. We went to the truck to find a different place to eat at, a waitress followed us out and was kind of snippy saying they were a restaurant too, and not just a bar. She thought we were younger than 21 and we walked out because we thought it was a bar. We didn’t walk out because we were too young, we walked out because it smelled… if you’re having to chase customers out in the parking lot to try to get them to come back, obviously business isn’t too good imo. Parking is great because no one was there, we got a spot right out front.

Had fried pork chop with mashed potatoes, and black eyed peas. Highly recommend. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere.
I had a breakfast plate this morning. Egg and cheese biscuit with conecuh and hashbrowns topped with cheese, peppers and onions. Everything was delicious and came out in good time! The bartender was very kind, and prices are great. I'll definitely be returning!

Great experience to start the morning in Mobile. Had the home fries with bacon and scrambled eggs and Cranberry Mimosa. The Mimosa is really good (along with the food). Don't let the outside trick you. Come in for a pleasant experience with Ginger and the staff!

This is a little place that offers good drinks and food for locals. Tasty country cooking and lots of vegetables on the menu to choose as sides. Prices were reasonable and drinks were good. Different specials available almost every day.

The Royal Knight is a dimly lit dive bar that serves great lunches. It’s never busy so easy to get in and out quickly. During the week they have daily specials but the menu items are also good. They specialize in typical southern cuisine. My son loves the pork chops or chicken bites. The pork chops come with sides and the chicken bites (small fried white meat pieces) are more of an appetizer but you get plenty. Dipped in bbq they are amazing. I’ve tried their spaghetti and their hamburger steak and both are really good. The hamburger steak is a regular menu item but the spaghetti isn’t. Highly recommend for a good lunch.
