Ordered a grilled chicken salad and it was truly AMAZING the chicken was juicy and delicious all the veggies fresh and tasty! They gave us extra dressing but we ate it without anything the chicken was so well seasoned the salad didn't need it. We are making this place a regular spot!

First time diner. Got a takeout order of fried livers and fried green tomatoes. It was inedible. Their grease needs to be changed!! Everything had a bitter taste to it because of the burnt grease. I threw away the entire meal. I was really excited to try this restaurant after all the great reviews I read on Facebook. Guess it will be a one and done for me.

Very good burger and sides. Sam I’m sorry but the catfish we had was muddy tasting like it wasn’t soaked in buttermilk long enough or maybe it’s just that’s how whole catfish tastes? Burger was for though along with everything else we ordered

I visited Sam's for the first time about 45 minutes before closing. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken and the whole catfish platter. My family and I *loved* everything! My godson adored the tartar sauce, called Sam's sauce, and thought it went really well the catfish. My sister loved her salad, though she felt that the green bell peppers did not enhance the dish. We all *loved* the whole catfish (my godson rated it 10/10). Everything was made fresh to order and the man who served me was very kind. We will definitely return to Sam's to try more of the menu items.
Looks can be deceiving! Pulled up to the place and wasn’t too sure from the outside but we decided to go in anyway and I’m glad we did! Food was fantastic! We got 3 piece fish with hush puppies and slaw and chicken livers with French fries and it was amazing. All the food was well cooked and fresh. Also portion sizes were huge compared to price. If I find myself in Mobile again,I will definitely be stopping here!

Excellent food, the shrimp are huge and cooked perfectectly. Also get two huge sides. More people need too try this place, we were the only ones there esting at 330 pm. 5 all the way, staff very friendly and took care of us.
