I’m from out of town so I may have higher expectations or not. It was okay, not the best sushi & hibachi place but I have definitely had worse.
We had table service since no one wanted to wait for the hibachi or see the show since if you’ve seen one you’ve basically seen them all. The server was great, she made sure our drink were filled & was really nice. The sushi bar was somewhat slow, my plate did not come out until the other people with me were halfway done with their dinner.
All in all I would pick a different restaurant the next time I am down here.

I came after my friend recommend this place to me As I walked in the staff were friendly the place smelled amazing and the atmosphere was electric I got the fire dragon and the shrimp dumpling the food was delicious and flavorful the staff were friendly and helpful and helped me understand the menu and what is good

We chose Shiso for a hibachi night but were very disappointed by the service. We waited a full 20 minutes before our cook even arrived at the table. Even though we waited so long, our waiter claimed we received our hibachi chef before they could bring out the standard soup and salad, so they never served it to us. The food that was cooked was decent, but the overall experience felt rushed and the service was just okay. The restaurant needs to improve its coordination between the kitchen and the dining room.

Really nice place with huge selection of Asian food. Tempora shrimp was excellent! Staff was very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Shiso for delicious food at a reasonable price and friendly service.

I will never come eat here again, I had a birthday dinner for my sister and the service of the waitresses was not up to par and unprofessional! After we left one of the servers called and falsely accused a person in my party didn’t pay $113 for food. It was confirmed that the ticket was paid for and I called back up there to verify the receipt was paid for and received a nonchalant apology after letting them know of the unprofessional service falsely accusing a member of my party of 24 for not paying but they indeed paid ‼️ I will never spend another penny in this establishment‼️ they need more experienced waitresses‼️ Side note: The hibachi Cook was awesome, that was the best highlight of the night ‼️

Great food and decent beer options. There is a nice porter from Iceland. I had the sushi the first time and hibachi chicken on the way back through. Both are good and come with miso soup and a salad with a nice dressing. It also came with a good sized fried rice. I was full after the meal both times. If I go back through Mobile for another job I will eat here again. It’s also right next to the Hampton Inn where we stayed.

Someone was having their 11th birthday party with a bunch of other kids in the hibachi section and was constantly screaming to the point where I could not hear my server or my family. It was also my 18th birthday; their parents should have tried to quiet them down because some people there would like to be able to talk to whoever they are having dinner with. Very disrespectful.
