One star is way too generous for this place, I wish that I could give zero, because one star would assume that they actually tried to serve me anything other than bottled beer. The one lady who was working at the bar with blonde hair was extremely rude and dismissive of customers. I first asked a question about an alcoholic soda because I was curious if it was to which I got a snarky comment back saying my food wasn't going to be alcoholic but the soda would be. Afterwards I was told it would be an hour wait for my food because of backup which I don't mind, but then an hour later after I waited I was told that I wouldn't be getting food and that they shut down the kitchen. I understand things can get busy, but given that it was especially during an event that you hosted this was absolutely inexcusable. I wouldn't even call this a very poor showing of customer service, because that would imply that there actually was customer service to begin with. Save your time and your sanity! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

I've been to Slurp Society a few times it was never outstanding but good enough to return for a craving however, after my last visit I will never be coming back.
Waited over 20 minutes for our order to be taken because we were shown to a table and given no waiter. Waited another 45 minutes to get our food just for it all to be cold. If that wasn't worse enough the band playing in their room over was so loud I might as well have been in the front row.
I normally don't complain about music because I'm aware of shows going on there but after looking at their Instagram there was zero advertising. I couldn't have planned around the show. Even if we had planned around the show by the time we got our food it would have been an issue anyway.
Absolutely infuriating experience if you're going to charge ridiculous amounts atleast bring me hot food and allow me to hear the person I'm sat in front of.

Gumbo dumplings 50/10, Laughing lemonade 10/10, Golden lotus 20/10, Takeout egg rolls 10/10, Battleship curry 20/10. I brought my mom here and we had a great time and loved the gumbo dumplings so much we got 4 orders to go. I don’t know what people are talking about when it comes to the noodles but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT and so did mom.

The first time we visited, service was great. We had a good time. 2 months later, I had family visit from states away and I told them about this place and they were so exited to eat here. We arrived, the server didn't even give us our menus, and we got the menus ourselves. The server was too busy talking and talking to the other patrons to take our orders. We waited for 20 minutes and we just paid for our drinks and left very livid. We went next door and got immediate service. We're definitely not going back to Slurp Society.

Friend had what looked to be a plastic piece of a remote or headset in her food, server said nothing and took off with it. We assumed she was going to show the manager. She came back with no acknowledgment to the plastic in her food. Like absolutely nothing. When the food came out it was all over the place with when the food was brought to the table. My wife asked where my food was because at that point my expectations were nonexistent and I wasn’t going to say anything cause I wasn’t interested in eating when my friends problem wasn’t addressed. My food comes out, it’s missing toppings and has clearly been sitting on the expo cause there’s a film on top of the broth and food. Eventually the manager comes over and I’ve never seen such poor customer interaction over why we weren’t addressed from the start of the problem. By the time we’re ready to wrap up multiple people come to the table with our only water refill for the night. Safe to say since the owner switch was when we first had problems we will not return again.
I had a coworker recommend this place. I decided to give it a try. I ordered ramen with pork broth, miso, roasted mushrooms, grilled shrimp, tofu, udon noodles, black garlic oil, and chilli oil.
It was honestly amazing, I absolutely loved it. I'm not sure how they got the tofu so flavorful, tofu is usually kind of bland. Definitely will eat here again.

My server, Tara, was the best!! It was my first time to SS so I needed recommendations. She was so knowledgeable about the menu!! I never had to ask for anything she brought everything I needed for my perfect dinner! If you go eat there, ask for Tara! You won’t be disappointed!!
