My husband and I stopped by Sonny’s tonight to have dinner. We’ve been eating Sonny’s barbecue for 30+years. It took almost an hour to receive our food. Hence, there was not a crowd. The food was cold and overcooked. It was terrible. The worst we’ve ever had. If this continues, this location will not be open much longer.
In my opinion, today’s food was awful. My grill quarters that I purchased as a take home meal was still pink on the inside as if it was rushed on the grill. They were out of a few items on menu. Lastly, what makes the taste of the chicken is the sauce that wasn’t even placed in the bag. I have had better but it was something about today. However, my son’s ribs in his opinion were burnt and just wasn’t good. I will return in hopes that the food is better.
