I had my mom pick up lunch for me from here today a oxtail dinner we paid basically $40 dollars and it only had 3 small oxtails everything else was rice and gravy for that amount of money it was highway robbery and the gravy seemed like a store brought brown gravy. Very disappointing

I am so dissapointed. I was just charged $70 for food that was only half of what was actually advertised. I ordered enough food for my entire family! The sandwiches that were advertised as fully dressed sandwiches came PLAIN. I understand running out of food, but to charge full price for something that isn’t as advertised is ridiculous.

Ignored or avoided when I came through the door, it felt racially hostile when the man gave me a dirty look as he left the counter and did not come back. I will avoid this place.

The Lima beans tasted sour, and the hamburger steak tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for more than a day. Sweet potatoes were good. Husband said his burger was ok. Daughter said fries were good. Hope they improve. Love to support local startups.

The food was very good here and reasonably priced. I ordered wings, macaroni, a burger and a salad. The macaroni was way better than I expected it to be. The wings were amazing as well. I didn't personally have the burger and salad but those got thumbs up as well.

It was definitely a Heavenly feeling after I ate! ?I was full, happy & ready to lay down.☺️ We will be back whenever we are in town. Everything I tried was so so good, okra, chicken dumplings, Lima beans, greens, yams, & etc. Folks gotta put this spot on the list of must eat.

I brought two dinners from this place today and they were horrible. It's no way the food was prepared today, I got a Liver dinner that the dog couldn't chew. You shouldn't sale liver if it's a day or two old the mac&cheese tasted like it was box. This business is not ready to serve in the area because there are too many competitors in the area.

It wasn't worth the money. Tried it out. Wouldn't ever go there again. Salt & pepper shakers were rusted. Food wasn't that good.

I through the entire plate away. Food was horrible but the customer service was great. I didn't like any of it. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but it was not edible at all

We have enjoyed all our meals at Soul Heaven, since they opened up their brick & mortar location! The portions are generous & food is always hot. Fried fish has been my favorite so far. Different flavored Teas and lemonades are so nice for the hot months. The staff is sweet, service is fairly quick, and great price for how much you walk away with. I would recommend to anyone in the area

First of all, let me say this building is old. It can be hard to keep something like that clean. That’s my biggest concern with this restaurant, added to that it tends to be very hot in the warmer month. Chairs and tables are dirty. Now let’s move on to the positive. The food was amazing. Chopped steak, vegetable medley and country fried steak were a few of the items on our table. All that and the sides were very good, fresh and hot. Great home/southern/soul cooking, whatever you want to call it. Good service, friendly people. Affordably priced lunch specials.

Wanted to support our local restaurant, so we stopped in during their posted hours. Workers inside, doors locked. You can see by the picture of the hours and the clock behind that we were there during business hours. ?‍♂️ We went to Texas Roadhouse instead.

Food was on point! Stopped in due to curiosity. I'm glad I did! It's been a long while since i had amy good soul food, and this blew me away! I had The Chef Ms. Lillie, fix my plate for me, and she absolutely knows what she's doing. 2 sides, 1 entree, a drink, and a desert put me at about $20 plus tip, and it was most definitely worth it. They also offer catering, which is good to know! I highly recommend this place if you're out west mobile.Note: They recently moved from their Moffet location, so if you've been a customer, come on out this way!
