The food was alright. The gumbo half the rice was done and half wasn’t. The wings were good. Some were done and some were chewy. The red beans and rice were good but if you’re looking for a lot of sausages, they are long sausages and they might give you three or four. The drinks were good and the service was good. Other than that the building is old and it gives an old atmosphere.

Tried the gumbo as an appetizer, it was really good. Had the shrimp and grits as my entre and it was really good also. My wife had the red beans and rice, I tried it and also liked that. Nothing was bad at all. Health score is a 94.

We had dinner here before Art Walk. The food was amazing, well seasoned and big portions. I love the wide variety of sides that come at no additional cost, the seasonal veggie was zucchini and it was sooo yummy fried on the side of my burger.
