Was in town with my gal and two German Shepherds and needed some good comfort food and dog friendly area. Score, score, score! Kim had the shrimp and grits and I had the red beans and rice with blackened shrimp, absolutely amazing!!! Our server was Justice, and she was incredibly delightful, prompt, courteous and very professional. Let's also mention that the beer was ice cold on a hot Mobile day!!!! 10 Stars!!!

My husband loves quirky restaurants and a Google search for such while we were in Mobile led us to The Blind Mule. I had the loaded nachos which were good, but not very loaded. These would have been excellent except that the toppings were skimpy and only on half the chips. My husband had the shrimp and grits and declared this dish very good. The star of the show however, was the amazing dessert our server recommended - raspberry jam filled beignets. They came to the table hot...

Cool & cozy place in Mobile for break. For starter, I ordered a cup of Gulf seafood Gumbo, which was amazing, creamy & flavored & not that much spicy. Ingredients come with some pices of okra as well. For the main course, I ordered shrimp, and the grits were fantastic.
