Large portions and great prices! A hidden gem in Mobile. Always hot and fresh and great quality. Not a fancy spot. More of a take out but/ cashiers are always patient and friendly.
Went in Saturday night and the food was perfect. Had 3 cheeseburger, the big easy pasta, and fried crab claws.. Will definitely be back

If you’re in Mobile Alabama go to the Boiling Pot Seafood restaurant. Food is outstanding! Try the crab stuffed fish or any of their fried fish plates you won’t be disappointed.
I picked up lunch here today and I can't recommend it. Some people may enjoy this restaurant, because it wasn't terrible, but I won't be back.
The ambience is rundown fast food, which is fine, but know what to expect when you go.
If you get takeout, check your order before you leave. My box had the correct ticket on the outside but someone else's order inside when I got it home.
I ate it anyway, since I wasn't going to drive all the way back. I got fried fish & shrimp, which wasn't bad, but not my cup of tea. They used good quality ingredients and fried to perfection so the batter was crisp and the seafood perfectly tender without being over cooked. Unfortunately, it was also way over seasoned to my tastes.
When I eat seafood, I want to taste the seafood. This was basically like eating fried garlic powder. If you eat deep fried things just as a vehicle for batter, you might really enjoy the Boiling Pot's food. I thought it was very mid.
Food wasn’t good like it use to be.. Gumbo was scorched and reminded me of gravy and rice instead of gumbo…

The place is off putting at first sight and the employees are a bit rough around the edges but the food makes it all better. If you are looking for good food with no frills, this is the place to be. The lady at the counter went over the menu and helped us order. There is a rough type of hospitality.

Delicious! The ladies working the counter were informative and helpful since we'd never been before. The food was fresh and tasty, so much flavor-i really enjoyed it! Im sad they are closed today cause I really wanted more! Clean and did I mention delicious?
Looks like a cafeteria. Its okay. Doesn't taste like it and still feels relaxing without being cold. Guy stole a drink. Cook guy handled it well, was just a shame to witness someone taking advantage of a business. Mooshy crab stuff on top of my fishie had some shells in it. I didn't mind that either, real crab mmmmm. There was also a white sauce. Dunno what it was but it was delicious! It was soaked up a lot by the crab moosh and I found myself wishing there was more in the dish for my fishie.
My mother and father in law haven't liked anyplace we've taken them in mobile but they really enjoyed the food, which was great to see. Even my infant son munched his way through some fries and cheesy grits.
My new favorite restaurant.
