The food is amazing! Ordered the bacon omelette with a side of cheese grits and boom 💥! It was delicious! Also ordered a side of pancakes and the pancakes tasted exactly like an actual cake! If you are in Mobile, AL make sure you come support this black owned restaurant! You won’t be disappointed!!!!

Great environment, truly exceptional dining experience at The Breakfast Stop The food was beautifully prepared with fresh, vibrant flavors, and the service was impeccable - our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. We can't wait to return Big Shoutout to the Owner 10000000000/10❤️

Sitting here with my wife and have not received my food we came in at 11/15/2024 at 9:38am it is now 10:38am Im only waiting on pancakes and chicken wings. As a cook for 10 years+ I’m sure it doesn’t take 1hour to make these items.(the waitress did say she would take the items off the ticket) the waitress was very nice and observant of our order but she does need to speak up to your cooks to make sure your customers are well taken care of. I think what happen was the communication between the waitress and the cooks

OK, here it goes. The food was very good. The waitress was awesome! The kitchen was unorganized and slow to get anyone's food out. Waited for almost an hour for our omelet and grits. Grits. My wife, and I would agree, said they were the best she has ever had eaten.

Went here as it was close to our hotel. Walked in and was greeted by a friendly staff. Menu looked amazing with a promise of the lightest, fluffiest pancakes around. If that’s the case, other places around must not be good at all. These pancakes were the equivalent of mixing quicksand with water and cooking. When cutting into the pancake, the pancake would disintegrate into the quicksand it once was. There was also a lemon glaze on the pancakes with no mention of that on the menu, it was a really off putting experience with pancakes. Plastic to-go utensils did not make the eating effort much better. The grits were straight from a box and not very good.

Again, the staff was friendly and nice, no complaints about them, the food though….. not good.

We were sat down, and our order was taken immediately.

We waited 25 min and still hadn't gotten our coffee or juice.

It took another 45 min to get our food. Nothing crazy either, pancakes and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich.

The entire experience was pretty disappointing.

All the servers were very nice but it felt like it was everyone's first day.

First impressions is everything and it didn't work here at this place. They took our order late and we watch people come in later than us and got there orders before us. Next I started eating my Pancakes and it tasted like I was eating a "BOX CAKE" instead of a regular Pancake. Next my Chicken Wings were fried hard (not fan) Last thing happened i asked for a to-go-container and she brought that and we were ready to check out but after that the waitress never came back to check on us so we had to go find her to check out. Smh ?

One word describes this place. That word is "DELICIOUS"! I was actually just taking an early morning ride and passed this restaurant. I like trying new places. I'm so glad I tried The Breakfast Spot. Everything was delicious.
Because I wanted to experience more than one dish, a friend joined me. My friend ordered the Mardi Gras omlet. I ordered the Pancakes and Chicken platter. The folks at The Breakfast Spot do not skimp on food portions or flavors. The Pancakes reminded me of a delicious lemon pound cake . That's honestly the best way I can describe the delicious lemon and vanilla flavor they have. And yes, they had crispy edges that I ABSOLUTELY loved! The chicken was hot, fresh, and crunchy.
The star of the show was the Mardi Gras omelet (although the pancakes are super close , almost a tie). The omelet was loaded, and I mean loaded with Crawfish, Shrimp, Conecuh sausage, cheese, spinach, mushrooms, green onions, tomatoes, green peppers and a delicious cheesy flavorful sauce. It was so big that even sharing it, we brought some home. You've gotta try this place if you want some delicious food made to order, fresh, and good customer service. I will most definitely be back.
