Grand Mariner Restaurant & Marina

Stopped in Mobile for the night last Saturday and had a wonderful meal at the Grand Mariner. There were five of us in our group and every meal was fresh and delicious. I have some odd food allergies and they were happy to make my food specifically to my needs. Great live music, football games on tv, giveaways, games for kids and a wonderful staff. Highly recommend!

The owners have done a great job of renovating and reinvigorating a landmark. Glad we dropped in to check it out. We will be back.

Everything was just poorly the waitress and bartender didn't check on us the food came out in Styrofoam the bill was 150 way over priced for just a shrimp dinner and flowder we only got two drinks at the bar the service was just really crappy we were offered a discount on crawfish 15 a sack and they still charved us 25 after everything was said and done they didnt apologize didnt try to make it right nothing and ive been a waitress and been in the restaurant business 18 years and atleast i would of tried to made it right i am very upset and disappointed in the whole thing i wont be going back

Overpriced for what we got. Didn’t get what we ordered. Some food was burnt. Was not a good experience

Not a heavy crowd but service was slow, had to walk up and order drinks while waiting on original drink order , the margaritas was no where near Mexican restaurant taste and the half and half plate order was very small compared to previous visits over 30 years past. The waitress was under age so drink deliveries and the check out was dependent on senior staff. One thing that has improved is my shoes didn’t stick to floor from grease buildup as in the past.

We stayed in daulphin island, and made the trip here based on the pictures and menu. The trip therr wasn’t bad at all, but it’s a little hidden. All 9 of us finished our plates, and the service was great. I got the seafood platter and was very happy and full. The crab legs were half peeled and the fried oysters were huge. Also, the fry they use is super crisp and satisfying. We would definitely go back.

$54 dollars for 3 captain Morgan and water in a small glass?? Come on people that’s ridiculous. On top of that $64 for a lb of crab claws that came out cold… we are locals on dog river. Will not be back.

We drove from MS so my friend could experience a restaurant I had fond memories of. We waited forever for a server who immediately blamed having too many tables. We graciously smiled and said no worries and ordered. Our food arrived without silverware. I was ignored by the first waitress when I got up to find it myself and retrieved my own. Only half our food arrived and the sides came at least ten min later. Didn’t get our drinks until well after the food. We ordered a dessert and after waiting 20 min or more for a lava cake, we were told it was “stolen by another table” and waited longer and was given one spoon. We asked for a second spoon and the check. A puddle of ice cream later she came with my check but no spoon and then just said,” I’m sorry. Thanks for coming “ and walked off. Terrible experience and a disappointment after driving the distance and hyping up the food for weeks beforehand.

Great place to enjoy an evening out! Great food, great atmosphere and great people!

Well, well, well! Price vs Food... For the price (kinda high when compared to better food elsewhere). I would have expected everything to be perfect! ...Far from it! Meal - Oysters were cold, tiny, and too much batter, new potatoes, fried okra! Appitizer - onion rings/fried dill plckles combo: Onion Rings were cold and soggy! Nothing should have been cold! Service was very good...very attentive. Main dining room and deck dining is not handi-cap friendly. This was my second bad experience here. I always give a restaurant a second chance. We'll see if there's a third! ...$3.00 surcharge for sharing? Really!?

Our server was not friendly. It was my and my significant others anniversary and ended up getting our order and leaving because the server was not pleasant at all
