Presley the bar tender had a very nasty attitude when I explained a drink was too strong. It's understandable that nothing can be done but talking to me like I'm a child is something I will not ever tolerate! Won't be coming back because of this!

This has always been one of my favorite places..Haven't been in awhile so went Saturday and it just wasn't the same..the catfish platter had one piece of fish and fries and slaw for $22.00..the shack burger was great and the poboy..the staff wasn't interested in being friendly

We recently dined at The River Shack, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The food is absolutely delicious; every dish we tried was good and made with fresh ingredients. The smoked tuna dip and cheeseburger are so far my favorite. Only downside is we have a soy allergy in the family and everything is fried in oil that contains soybean. But the variety of the menu allows us to order other things. The drinks were equally impressive, offering a great selection at fantastic prices.
What truly elevated our visit was the friendly and professional staff. They were attentive and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed while adding to the overall enjoyment of our meal. I like how the food is initially self ordered and wait staff brings it out and refreshes your beverages. This is great when you're short on time.
And let’s not forget the views! You can't beat the stunning water scenery that The River Shack offers. It creates a perfect atmosphere for a relaxing laidback dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, drinks, and a beautiful setting. I can’t wait to return!

Very good food and very large portions. Great location on the water with nice relaxing views. Live music came later and was enjoyable. We stayed and hung out for awhile as it was very pleasant place to be after a stressful day. Ordered oysters blackened and oysters fried. Too many to finish and delicious. Dog friendly made our pup happy too!
