Meet some friends there for dinner. It’s a good place to visit for the atmosphere. Food was ok, catfish was a little over cooked, as were the shrimp but the beer was cold the view was amazing. It’s a seat your seat, order yourself place, but they will delivery when order is ready. They have an indoor bar and seating area if you don’t want to sit outside.If you plan on sitting outside after dusk bring something for the “no see em, Nats”

Dropped in for a quick lunch with some co-workers. I had the fried green tomatoes with shrimp remoulade. The food was good and the atmosphere was relaxing.

Other than the confusion of being a first-timer, the River Shack experience was good!!! The food was amazing and the staff was friendly! Look forward to eating here again on our next trip to Mobile!Kid-friendliness: Was kind of a party crowd on a Sunday evening. My 6 year old son learned to flip people off by watching a party between us and the band.

???Today was my first time coming here. Cashier did not give me a table number or receipt. I stood there waiting for what I needed next & she just said "that's it." So in my mind I'm like okay that's it I guess. That resulted in my food being served cold, because the waiter couldn't find which table to deliver too, because I didn't have a table #. And honestly the food wasn't all that nor worth it, River Shack won't be getting my family's monies again! ??♀️

Great spot for quick fresh seafood. There's also great views right on the water so you can catch some nice sunset views! The po boys wee amazing and the seafood was fried to perfection.
