I have been buying my fish from here over 25 years. Every single time I bought fish it was always fresh. Not 1 time I got bad fish from this location. I know the building is old but this place is always clean. It doesn't smell like fish ever. He takes pride in giving quality seafood and service. To get this type of service in an African American customer base is unheard of. Most businesses are rude and sell old and bad products. Not a giant selection of seafood, but I found everything I needed. Good prices and very friendly service. The seafood is fresh and the shop is clean...no unpleasant odors like so many other fishmongers in the area.The building itself is really cool...vintage brick storefront with great visual appeal.I am so glad that Trans is a part of my neighborhood!

My husband usually calls ahead and requests what he wants. They always have it prepared and ready for pick up. He is always satisfied with his order. Sometimes, they will call to let him know that they have in-stock what he likes. Great customer service!
