We have not been here before and found it on Google looking for new lunch place in this area. All we can say is .. WOW!! The atmosphere is very hip casual and we decided to eat outside on the wonderful back patio area. The food was absolutely delicious!!! My friend ordered the Pork Loin and Collard sandwich and I ordered the Sunny Pesto and we shared. Who knew collards would be so good on a sandwich and I don’t even care for collards. The Sunny Pesto was equally delicious and the fries with both were really good and well seasoned (but not salty which was nice). We shared an order of the Pork Belly Skewers and they were life changing. How can something be so crispy yet literally melt in your mouth. And the sauce was to die for … sweet and tid bit spicy/ vinegary and I would like a bottle of it please. We will definitely be back and can’t wait!

My wife had the blackened chicken Caesar salad salad and I had the sandwich they called Chopped, which is chopped ground beef, some lettuce, mayo, and I had them put mustard on it instead of ketchup. It was excellent!
We both very much enjoyed our meals. We would absolutely return.

The catfish was fried way too hard and the fried pickles were just ok. The fries were great and my daughter enjoyed her smashburger. The young lady that took our order (hostess/waitress) was awesome and we loved the atmosphere.

Great time at the Velvet Pig. Crab Rangoon dip and a Pretzel for apps. Nice bar selection. Monday night so things were quiet. Perfect for what we were looking for. Would highly recommend.
The Velvet Pig was recommended by a friend, so I checked it out and I'm glad that I did! I had the Smash Burger with fries (very tasty!🎉) and the Crab Rangoon dip which also excellent! Food was delicious and the service was great too!

We wanted a quick bite after lunch hours on a Saturday. Easy to order and they bring your food to ya. Love the wait staff! Accommodating and full of personality. Cracklings were crunchy and good seasoning. They bits of fat on them. Artichoke n collard dip was tasty, creamy, freshly mixed and served HOT. Burger was also freshly made with more than average fixins (salted onions).... fried were highly seasoned. I didnt care for them but they were done well.

A must when visiting Mobile. Came here after a long drive from Georgia and I had the pork belly skewers and Boudin eggrolls. I gotta say, doesn’t sound like a lot but it was a meal. Super tender pork belly with a BBQ sauce with that good heat, boudin was perfectly seasoned and with a kick of that mustard, it’ll put you in the right mood. Great service, awesome beer selection. 100/100 would recommend
