The food is absolutely excellent. The sauces, omg! It's a small dining area so get a reservation.

The best Italian restaurant in Mobile. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but the eggplant Emilia and the tiramisu are my favorites.

We were really excited to try this place but left before we even ordered because the male server we had was just downright rude. After greeting us and offering us a wine menu, we said we would just like to start with some sweet teas and his attitude just plummeted. When he brought our drinks he kind of slammed them down but we shrugged it off and asked for straws. He just walked away from us and went to talk to the girl behind the counter. With the eye rolls and smirks it just felt off. He completely ignored the request so when he came back I asked for straws again. After some time he brought 3 straws for 4 sweet teas and just kind of threw them down and walked away. At this point everyone at the table is confused with this mans attitude and since we were there to celebrate, we decided to just leave so it didn't ruin our night.

Food was good. The indoor dining space felt cozy but small. Overall, good experience.

Make reservations, don’t expect anything quick or fast.
It was perfect for the occasion of meeting with old friends and spending time talking about life with no rush.

Straight up best Italian I've ever had. Pasta made fresh in house ...the works. I usually get the Eggplant Emilia which is 5/5. I can't speak for much of the rest of the menu since I've stuck to my tried and true favorite but I'm sure everything else is just as good.

Really great date restaurant. All fresh-made Italian in a homey cottage. You’ll need a reservation! The food is unbeatable - it’s small, so depending on the other guests, it can get a little loud (depending on how much wine they have - this is Mobile, remember?). Food is pricey but not unreasonably so, considering quality. Definitely recommend!

This is the kind of place you want to go to when you want to go with someone and talk about something that you’ve been putting away for a long time.
Food here takes at around 45-60 min, so know that. Make sure you have a reservation! You could be lucky and find a table.
Would I come back?
Most definitely. Food was so good, worth the wait.
No, I don’t mind the long wait time for good food! Yet in my own humble opinion it was a solid B+

Eh. Its ok. Really wants to be fine dining. Located near USA campus. A bit overpriced but the college kids do not know better concerning the quality or price. Also there are a few items featured on the website that aren't on the menu.

I’ve been coming here for years. Last night was the best so far. I had the Pan Seared Unicorn, I’ve never had a better piece of fish on the coast! It was SO buttery & savory. I thoroughly enjoyed that. My girlfriend got the lasagna and she enjoyed that as well. Both of our dishes were hot and fresh!
Our server was quite friendly and attentive. Of course the restaurant is small and that’s fine, doesn’t bother us one bit. Will absolutely be back!
Thank you guys for a wonderful meal!

Food and service was acceptable. Parking lot is a little tight for a large car or truck.

It was excellent, however, it was really loud and we couldn't have an intimate conversation. It was our 38th Anniversary.

Definitely one of my favorite spots for a dinner out, harder to get into in recent years so definitely recommend a reservation. Brought in a friend down from Tennessee who also worked fine dining in our younger years and both were extremely happy. The food was excellent as always and simply love the consistency of this place. My guest loved it just as much if not more. Been a long time fan and look to many more years here at Via Emilia!
