Finally found an authentic Mexican restaurant nearby. Carne Asada tacos and chorizo con huevos were yummy! Salsa and chips were good too. Just recently tried Lengua tacos and torta ummm so good!

This is a place I probably wouldn't have stopped at due to the ugly strip mall it's in.
But I was shopping in a store and in a casual conversation this was recommended over the big fancy Mexican restaurant in Mobile.
I am glad I came, very good food and employees. The inside is newly renovated and nice.

Solid food. Everything we had was really good. I had grilled chicken with shrimp and I really enjoyed it. The salsa was really good too. I would recommend and will most likely go back when we're in that area.

Was charged a tip on my card that was not authorized! Waitress received a cash tip well over 20% and then charged my card when the base and total amount were the same. I do have sloppy handwriting, so I spoke with them on Wednesday, chalked it up to a mistake with my hand writing. They said they would give me an update “ASAP”, it’s now Monday! I’m not worried about the $6, it’s $6. It’s the fact my card was charged when it was not authorized and a business that we frequently eat at doesn’t have the decency to correct it/ respond.

Tried to charge me an adult price for my child. Then the older lady called me a liar about her age. I'm her mother, so I guess I should know her age.

Ordered to go. Stupid expensive for no reason and small portions. Charged me $10 in additional fees. Convenience fee and to go box fees. Small cup of queso and a child’s portion for the quesadilla I ordered not to mention it was super soggy.

Delicious, had the Elote, and chicken with mushrooms, onions, cheese dip and shrimp was delicious. Also got the El Rey burrito to go. Flavors were on point and prices were decent.

Ok so just a disclaimer we have been going to this restaurant for almost 2 years. It's been our normal spot to go get mexican food. The food has always been great and the staff were friendly and quick. However after tonight I don't think we will be back anytime soon if ever.

My gf ordered the birria tacos and a couple of bites in found a long dark hair (she is blone) in the taco. The guy who brought us our food saw it and without us saying anything he apologized and toom the food back to have it remade. Gross but hey mistakes happen and they were going to make it right we were fine with that.

Our issue came up when the "manager" (young kid didn't get his name) came up to our table. He at first seemed apologetic but then made it sound like the hair was our fault. He explained the guys in the back wear hair nets and so implied it was my gfs hair. Again she's blonde and the hair was down in the taco. We never once asked for them to take it off the bill or anything. We didn't even ask to have it remade. Our issue is being talked too like we were the problem.

So we got to go boxes, payed our bill, and tipped our waitress. Then left, didn't want to cause a scene but felt something had to be said. Again I don't think we will be back and will find a new regular spot.

Margaritas were great. Food was great. Chips and queso were ok. Really want to come back to try the variety of soups. Nice service and cool looking place.
